Just got my ticket after checking all day waiting for tickets on the "right" side of the stage to pop up. I definitely wanted the side away from the piano in the lower section, and I finally got section 8A (one section off from center), row 3.
Does anybody know how the Tacoma Dome seats are numbered? I'm in seat 3; would that be closer to section 7A or 9A? I'm hoping 7A, but will be a decent seat regardless. |

Woo hoo!!!! My sister bought my tickets while I was at work this morning (with my money, of course), and she did a stellar job! Floor Section 1, row 6! It's sort of between the arrow and the horn of the symbol, and far enough away from the stage to get a good view. I can't wait!!!
YOU THE MAN!!
Please give us a full report when you get back from the concert UCantHavaDaMango, please!!
I most definitely will! The man I adore is coming with me, and I'm hoping that this experience will finally convert him into a Prince fan. Hahaha! |

According to the chart, it looks like you may be closer to section 9A. You'll still have a good view!

Thanks! Don't know how I missed those numbers when I looked at the seating chart. I wish all venue seating charts would do that. |

Yes-that is why I chose victoria. However, you have to spend the night since the last ferry leaves at 9pm. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment |

Got my tickets! Will be there!! When I heard the news it hit me right in my funky bone. So Excited. This will be my fifth time seeing him. Once in Rockford Illinois in 1982, Second time at the old Seattle Center Coliseum in 1987, Third time at the Gorge in George Washington in October 1997 and the fourth time at Key Arena in Seattle Washington in August of 2004. Anyone out there that has never seen him, do yourself a favor and get some tickets to see him. You will not regret it!!!!! |

i'm on the fence about this concert, his fans are getting older and not teenagers anymore, I don't feel like being frisked and what not to see him. Tacoma is a half hour away and I'm broke too, so I don't know if I want to do it. Moreover, he's not even gonna get the place half full, Springsteen couldn't get it half full and I doubt Prince has as many fans left as Bruce. I love my man but I'll have to think about this one, why give 80 bucks of my hard earned cash to someone who has no respect for anyone? |

There are scattered lower level seats left, and some floor seats, but the upstairs is completely sold out (including upstairs seats behind the stage). Attendance shant be an issue. Occupy Alphabet Street!

hard to believe, they had to give away tickets to fill the seattle center building. anyway, if they sell out it'll make it real easy not to go. |

I am a Prince fanatic but it boggles my mind where some people get all the money to do this stuff. I've been thinking of getting a ticket before they're all gone but I probably shouldn't considering how broke I am. It's Prince, I've seen him before, I know what to expect, one of the best doing his thing but I've seen it and really ain't too excited about it. |

Hello Org!
I live in Northern California and saw P three times earlier this year (2x in Oakland, once in San Jose). I'm planning to fly up for this show and just wanted some local insight into how I should plan.
It'll just be me, and I'll probably leave fly in Monday afternoon and stay until Wednesday night. I haven't been to the area in 20 years, so I definitely want to spent time in Seattle, mostly to try great food spots. Should I stay in Seattle and just cab it to the Tacoma dome? That'll suck but I figure it's best to stay where I'll spend the most time?
Thanks all!

The Sounder, which is the train that runs between Seattle and Tacoma, generally adds night time service when there's a show at the Tacoma Dome. It's a pricey cab ride from Seattle to the Dome, and there will be TONS of traffic. That being said, Tacoma isn't really a great place to stay. I live in Seattle (on Capitol Hill), so if you have any questions, pm me. Enjoy the show! Occupy Alphabet Street!

I agree that seattle is better-but it is going to cost you $$$ for a cab ride that will last 45 minutes or more. If you are staying for a 2 days you can stay in Tacoma 1 night (night of concert) and then go to seattle next day. Tacoma doesn't have much going on but during the day you can go to the museum of glass (located just about 2 miles north of Tacoma dome):

We're just a few rows behind you, same section. They are great seats, if his other shows on the Welcome2 tour are any indication. I sat VIP tables for the Madison Square Garden shows and envied those who were up a section and on this side of the stage where the piano is. From where we are to the same point on the other side of the stage is just perfect. |

Im traveling from southern california so it is not a big feat. We could have driven but I wanted to relax and plane tickets at the time were not super high so I grabbed them. Ive been to seattle before, my brother lives there so I am not paying for a hotel. All in all, it wasn't as expensive as it could have been and plus, I will be staying there for Christmas to be with family. It worked out great. |
