Ame exp / don't buy aftershow tix from others
Night one was okay, the door guy apparently thinks everyone should give him money for allowing them in.
Night two: I showed up, the door assmonkey, I guess was pretending that he was in NYC and not Toronto and pretended I wasn't there while he let in other people. I was polite as is my nature and waited, puzzled.
The level of self importance was so hilarious, I thought he was kidding at first.
I bought a aftershow ticket off a fellow orger, the woman looking up names was such a fucking bitch about the whole process, it bummed me out, I paid the money, here is my drivers license.
At this point, I lost my license, she had it and I went back outside, as asked. Haha.
So here I am, an American citizen, my license in the clutches of the she beast and the cops ended up being such hostile hinderers, I opted to get a taxi back to the hotel. I do not have my license, but I do have the cops names and I will be writing letters of complaint.
The bartenders were nice and kept the Red Bull flowing the night before.
Love wins. (Seen on bumpersticker)

An orger sold you a bogus ticket? If so, that sucks.
Call the club and have them mail you your license, because it's a pain to replace.
Why exactly were the cops involved? Did you call them? Or did they? When you don't have a case, yell RACE!

Nooooooo. I'm so sorry Rose I didn't go in the end, our flight was at 10 am this morning & the kids were half asleep, i was planning on putting them down & leaving Mr Mom in charge, I was just too tired tho.
At least you had fun the night before.
I'd call the bar & ask about your license & make a complaint about the staff.

I'm going to guess Rozilla's intent with the warning is that at the door they will still be expecting the ID/credit card of the person who originally purchased the ticket.
The ticket she bought and the orger she bought it from were legit but at the door they didn't let her in because she was not the original purchaser.
I'm sorry for your bad experience Rozilla. Appreciate the heads up so no one else has to go through the same frustration/expense.

Ah, OK. That seems harsh. When you don't have a case, yell RACE!

the person who actually purchased the tickets had to be there to let you in. my friend bought mine so she had to show id, sign off, etc. names were crossed off before being allowed in. on saturday it was the same thing. the whole process took long!
