OK - so since most of us that follow this site real regular like aren't opposed to dropping coinage on great seats for the man's concerts, how do we get a sniff of where in Toronto the potential aftershow party is?

I don't have very many bucket list items, but one thing I wanna do before I die is get to a Prince aftershow. It ain't easy(or over), but I'm gonna do ma best.....

Can anyone lend a fella a hand?

Yes, where could it be? I just bought my ticket for Sat, Nov 26, my birthday! So where do you think it would be? I am not from Toronto, so I have no clue where to go.

If we go to the Prince events forum, maybe someone can message the DJ? Those Prince jams are usually at the Drake Hotel or Revival I think. There was already a Prince jam this year, I hope another one is held that same weekend.

Well, I'm DJ doctor BAGGIE, here, present. Welcome 2 Canada is very xciting 4 all of us, finally, the wait is over! Sorry everyone, but at the moment I'm not planning an afterparty on Nov. 25 or 26. If anything changes, I'll let U all know on here. I'll be at both shows and will be on the lookout 4 an aftershow with the man himself.

I do have good news: the next Purplelectricity Prince Party is on Friday, December 23rd at Clinton's (693 Bloor St West, Toronto). We'll be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of CONTROVERSY. Details about this edition will publicized in the coming weeks and watch 4 posters and flyers galore around the ACC on Nov. 25 and 26.

Does anyone know if prince has ever done an aftershow in Toronto?

Unfortunately the only show I can attend is the Nov 25 in Toronto, and I don't live there. So, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to watch/find out about an aftershow?? This would be an ultimate experience for me as I am a huge fan and I have seen him a few times, but never an aftershow.

He's done aftershows here before(Red Drink), but I think that the last one he did was when he was still married to Manuela, so pretty locked down for fam/friends.

Generally, the best bet is to wait until after the concert is over. DON'T LEAVE!!! Once most of the casual listeners have left the building, if there is an aftershow, they'll announce it over the house speakers and you can try to make it there as fast as you can...

You can also ask they guys tearing down ther equipment after most have left and they might throw you a bone.

If I can't find out beforehand, that's this fella's plan!

I've heard he used to go to C Lounge as well, wonderful atmosphere

I doubt he'll be at C Lounge again as the people who got him there in 2004 are no longer affiliated with C Lounge. Plus, that wasn't an aftershow, it was just P hanging with Sony Music staff and the family members of Mani -- both camps he won't be hanging with in 2011!

If U have mobile internet, check The Org before, during and after the concert 2 see if anyone has posted info on here about an aftershow.

Surely you mean afterparty? I was there and hung out till almost 3. I know he played an aftershow in Ottawa the next night, but I'm sure he didn't even bother showing up.

I am looking everywhere for my passport, oy! I am just hopping the border and taking the train from Windsor to Toronto (Canadians really know how to DO trains!). I love Toronto! We are staying for 4 days, I am hoping to go by myself to the Saturday night show, get a last minute ticket.

Right now we have tickets for the Friday night show.

Anyone else going for a few days and have kids or wanna have a org get together?

I have lost some weight and got my high school body back, going to be rocking a gold sequin number! Haha, only in Canada, it is going in my closet with the rest of the outfits I've worn to see Prince.

I can't wait for my 9 year old to experience the joy of Prince live!

I just got confirmation from an insider at AME that there will be an intimate performance -- I'm so happy I got my tix! Also, Prince himself indicated on CHUM radio this morning that he's playing at the afterjams!
