The way it is described, the Purple Circle VIP is the table seats. Other than the complimentary drinks, and the intimate table setting their isn't much differnece from the VIP Package.

The VIP package, as described, does not seem to be floor seats but rather lower bowl seats; first five rows. If that is the case, I would/will be going for those. You get all the gifts, and I think, a better view of the stage.

Thanks a lot smile heart

Hi, could someone explain what I could expect/it means : floor tables and/or floor seats?

I am not familiar with this kind of tickets/seating (so far it's not used in Europe).

Txs.

Look at the Seating legend to the bottom left of the seating chart;it gives you the color of the seating. The floor tables (gold color) are closer to the stage than the floor seats (sea blue color).

I noticed the legend but didn't had a clue what it means "Floor tables".

Do you know where the lower bowl seats located? If they are not in the blue section "floor seats"?

Would it be at the 100 Level?

I know... Was wondering that myself. Why are those tables closer to the stage, but does not include VIP package...

Anyway, I might go with one VIP package and then close seats for the other shows...

Is there any arena seats plan for Halifax and Ottawa so I can have an idea of which one I take the VIP package?

Well, I know, that's the Prince side we hate...

Tickets for Montreal back in June were 150$ and we were 4 feets from him, front row, and it was a 2000 people capacity.. Now tickets for Bell Center are going as expensive as 272$... This is insane...

sad

Yeah this is a resaler site, so not the actual prices... can't believe they already got their hands on so many tickets though, they suck.

Seeing these prices I was shocked. I very much hope that this is not the real prices. Nearly 1,300$ even for the best seats - it's even more than too much.

Hey everyone...Loving the buzz this tour announcement is creating.

My wife won tickets this morning for the Dec 5th London,ON show from a local radio station.

Yipee!!!

Can't wait!!!

Haven't seen P since Hamilton in 2004 when he gave me his hat after moaning along to "How Come You Don't Call Me".

biggrin

Hey back at ya! I remeber the two of you from the Hamilton show. In fact I was just talking about you and your "hat" to the gals in the office yesterday. It's Cindy (the line control freak) and Jerry (dancing on stage with P to the 2 and the 4). I can't remember your names. It's hard to beleive that was 7 long years ago. Maybe we can plan on meeting up before the show in London somewhere for a drink? Counting down the days!!!

Hey Cindy...I remember you...didn't Jerry where teh Bermuda shorts that P made fun of?

Our names were (and still are) Gus and Angela.
Let us know and maybe we can hook up!

Anyone have any idea how big the symbol stage is? I'm wondering if floor seats would be too low. Might get a better view from some of the higher seats at the side of the stage.

I'm sure a bunch of people will jump on to disagree...

I went to 5 of the 6 NJ/NYC shows and sat on the floor twice, but I found that I had a much better view when I sat in the 100s level. On the floor, you can only see the side you're sitting on, but from one level up, you're almost eye-level with the stage and can see Prince even if he moves to the other side. I felt like I was straining to look up and see him (plus there are monitors and things on the floor, which obstruct the view down below).

And if you're too close, you can't even see the screens, if they have them, when he's not on your side....

Like I said- there will be people who will disagree, but I prefer to see what's going on the whole time instead of little bits just to say I was close on the floor. nod

I just watched the Superbowl performance and it did not look like the folks right up against the stage had a very good view. I'm thinking that the stage he will have for these shows will probably be smaller but I think I'll try to avoid floor seats.

Thanks for your input.

Hmmm hmmm. . .now that I look at that chart again, not really liking the setup of the stage. We'd have to be in section 104 or 115 directly on either side of the stage for a good view.

oh no, so they must be for the 100 levels and ground, and the 67 ones for 300 levels... are you sure they are not for VIP? I highly doubt it's that expensive.

I was just given the chance to buy two pre-sale tix to the Toronto show (via a friend of mine who is a Leafs season ticket holder), and they offered me 14 rows up, section 121 for $195 each, taxes and fees included. That's a pretty hefty ticket price, although they are definitely decent seats. My gal lives out in London, and I think I'm going to take my chances on Friday for tix for that show: the venue only seats 8,000 for hockey, and I don't think there are any "bad" seats in the bunch!

Does anyone know who is playing with Prince on this tour? Is Candy Dulfer and/or Maceo out with them?
