Concert Prices!!!!

Does anyone know what the cost of front row tickets are? Like in big places like Madison Square Garden, TD Garden? Also what's the most expensive price you've heard for front row?

Thank You biggrin

VIP table/ floor seats were $225 each (min of 4) for MSG & NJ, W2A tour. However, within hours these were being sold for $1000. I paid $3-600. for row b & c. No table but 2nd/3rd row, about 10-15 ft from stage. I'd pay it again just to have the space to dance & be close enough to the man.

Also for the $1,000 price was that the beginning prices for floor or last minute?Worth every penny. I managed 5 of his shows. all last a week prior, then i gave & booked 2 nights the night before... yes, following the last show.

It's a chance of a life time, history in the making. I took my daughter with me the last night, magical x

If you can afford it do it, however the nose bleed seats are also worth the money, it's Prince.

Are you in NY? If so, quite a few tribute nights go on, also worth a visit. They dont compare to seeing him live but fun sll the same x

No, I live in Boston :/ Ugh, I want to see him live soooo bad! I'm just waiting impatiently for him to come tour again in the states. Are you allowed to take pictures during the concert? I've heard that he kicks people out for that...

In NJ the security were complete !%*!'s. Everytime you took your phone or camera out they'd stop you. MSG here & there, i managed to get some GREAT pics tho'. smile

I've never heard or seen anyone be kicked out for taking a pic. Phones were said to be banned but in each concert Prince asked everyone to hold their phones in in the air & ..... on the count of 3........ THROW THEM IN THE AIR!!!

'Front row tickets', you must be from anotehr continent.

Over here, aside from 'gold circle', you can just run for yer spot when you have 'field' tickets.

Prince played 6 concerts in Holland this year, all of them cost 100 euos. The North Sea Jazz Festival was 89 euros + 10 % service fees . What the hell are service fees?!?!?! If you see an unknown band for 20 euros, you still pay 10 % service fees. So the more expensive the artist, the higher the service fees. And if you want the ticket sent to your home by mail, you pay another 3 euros. So that' s not part of the service you just paid 8,90 euros for. All of that is because of the ticket agency.
When Prince played at the Melkweg, it was 100 euros cash. That was alright with me, because I knew we would be getting our money's worth. And we did.
So I saw him 3 times out of 6 this year. If it wasn't for the high prices, it woulda been 6 out of 6.

Why didn't you see him last winter in NJ or NY? Prices were reasonable, especially for those who purchased Izod upper level seats and got free upgrades to the lower level. I made the trip, and I'm only 90 minutes closer to NJ than you razz

Why write a comma for thousands? That must be american.

€1,20 it is. or rather 0,00120 in your place?

LOL, that bothers me too - I mean here in Ireland €1.20 is not written like €1,20. the cumma is used only when indicating thousands. It seems to be the standard across mainland Europe. I know, I am off topic lol.

Btw, our tickets in Ireland in the gold circle (up front) were €105. The seated tickets were closer to €130 I think, and to be honest, they were too far back in my opinion. I too am going to start putting some €€ away for the next concert... I need another Prince fix!!
