Hey, some people knows Rio and were going just to check the show. Of course he can do whatever he wants, and I am sure he is sure he can, that´s one of the reasons his career went downhill since the 80´s. He got talent to be much more popular than he is, but his stupid decisions only hurts his career and legacy. But that´s ok, he is number one at the bank.

When he came to Brazil in the ROck in Rio show he dared not to play, started very late and eventought he did a great show he got a bad reputation for his behaviour, he ordered 500 towels and 2 full pianos on the hotel room.... Now he does this, he will never play Brazil again. Producers won´t trust him after this fiasco.

As for this time around, that's assuming that it wasn't the producers/promoters that were at fault.

There's just as much reason for speculation about them not honouring their side of the bargain as there is about Prince deciding to cancel. Maybe the producers won't trust him...or maybe he won't trust them?

I hope it gets sorted out one way or the other so that Brazil gets to see Prince soon though.

What about the islands? Could Prince have been safe-guarding his property? I heard of Prince's recent investment, so I wonder if Hurricane Irene damaged any trees or anything?

I already asked her if this was Prince's camp way of saying that the concert was never confirmed and ticketsales were premature? Or maybe even that they tried to sell enough tickets first and then when it became apparent not enogh tickets were sold, the concert was canceled?
