Heavy cloudburst has cut off electricity 85 minutes into show ... generator is on, but not powerful enough. Many have left - but many still waiting to see what happens.

It´s over ...

They had about 25 people from the audience dancing on the stage when suddenly the cloudburst came out of nowhere. Some thought that it was a special effect at first...

And what a shame. The set looked great, confetti "raining" during Purple Rain, smoke fx - more than the usual haze.

I saw some guys from a pyrotech-company at the festival site, in their work uniforms. Perhaps it was just the smoke and confetti. Fireworks would have been nice though if the show wasn't cut short..

I hope we'll get the full treatment tomorrow, sunday.

Danish media BT wrote about a power outage due to the amount of rain. Emergency generators were in place but not enough to let the show go on.

At the concert it was announced on the PA that it was due to the safety of the artists on stage, and that Prince already had left (to beat traffic I suppose).

At least everybody on today's bill got to perform & Prince still had the longest set presumably? I just hope that most people are doing both days & the weather sorts itself out for you guys. Man seeing that stage again in the above pic, can't believe Dublin was only last week...I need to see another show!

Looks like I made the right choice not attending this show ..
