Rumors about a mini gig in Vienna

http://www.oe24.at/musik/pop-rock/Prince-Nach-Sziget-Show-auch-in-Wien/36005794

Either on 8.8 or on 10.08 at Porgy & Bess where his gig last year was booked but cancelled.

greets

Yeah, I read that last night and was wondering if there could be any truth to it??

I mean, no one else is saying anything about this .. only oe24 .. so I don't know.

Reason to keep ears open, though, for sure! It would be soooooo great if it took place!!!

Prince, pleeeaaaase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that would be great!!!!!!!! biggrin

I´m coming back from Copenhagen to Vienna on monday evening so that could work!! biggrin

but how realistic are those dates? if he travels to Vienna on 8/8 to stay there and just goes on to Budapest for the concert and return short after then yes

but if he plans to stay overnight in Budapest a clubshow there is more likely goin to happen

Konzert-Festival

Prince: Nach "Sziget"-Show auch in Wien?

Letzten Juli stornierte Prince Club-Gig in Wien. Jetzt will er ihn nachholen.

August.

I really would like to believe in this excited

Eberhard Forcher was speculating about it already in Solid Gold 1 1/2 weeks ago but thought some would just overestimate Prince's love 4 Vienna , but who knows ?

Monday or wednesday-night would be perfect wink but tuesday I'm in Budapest and I think I won't make it in time 2 an aftershow in Vienna by car - unless Prince gives me a ride on his jet cool

I can hardly imagine these rumours are true I must say. But of course with Prince you never know for sure.

Sorry, no.

I was just listening to my favorite radio-broadcast on oe3 and he was talking about Prince's surprise concert in Budapest and that some people had high hopes or were convinced (?) that he'll do the "cancelled" club-gig this year....... and that he (E.F.) could not believe in it.

He also said that Amy Winehouse should have played at the Sziget-fest and that they booked Prince to fill the gap.....

From the center of BP, let's say Batthyany Square, it's only 2 hours to Vienna (keeping the legal speed-limit wink ), sure ?

Yeah Amy would have played there, but on a different day sad. If she would not have had to cancel the whole tour they probably would not have booked Prince.

Well I don't really belive it either, but it sure would be interesting who started these rumours and if these people have any knowledge at all or not.
