Dublin Set To get 3 hour show

Prince is planning an amazing show for the Dublin concert-goers this Saturday. Not only is he said to be doing a 3 hour show, but also a "surprise"? Plus they say, that 3 hours will be the minimum. I can't wait to see the set lists and reviews for this show!

Assuming that he comes on at EXACTLY 8.....

8 - 10:45 does not equal 3 hours.

considering the fact that Sinead insists Prince was once physically abusive to her, i doubt that very much.

Don't be upset that your first prince concert wasn't that good. You're young and a lot of concerts are still to come. wink

prince should play butlins at skegness. i once had a dream about prince sitting in a chalet playing his symbol guitar along to a computer playing the backing music. i feel the dream will come true. NPG festival UK style

Like others already noticed, what was so special about the Dublin concert?

For real, what was the surprise?

That he played 2h15m instead of 3h+ ?

That he played the hits for the very last time?

Or was it the snippet section and that the he doesnt play great songs like SOTT and When Doves Cry in full length?

Maybe the yoda suit that made him look like a music veteran with the best days laying far behind him.

I read the show was electric and magnificent and i believe that it was a good show (i wasnt there tbh).

But shouldn´t he be on fire every show when ppl paying so much money to see him live for 2 hours?

With all respect, WHAT was so special about Dublin?

There was so much talk about it weeks before the show. I dont get it...

Seems it was all hype.

The show was good, nothing special.

Dont get me wrong, every show is special, but this one didnt have anything different tahn some of the other ones.

I blame the lackluster crowd for yet another hits show.

They worked hard to get them going and had no alternative but to stick to the hits.

A woman near me who stood stock still for the entire show turned around after it was done & said "well, that was dissapointing"

You get out of it what you put in people. Join the fucking party if you want to be part of it.

So they churned out the hits, played it safe all because of the crowd.
