Bart, you were right!

He is a douche. After 25 years and 30 concerts I finally realized you were right all along. Last night in Ahoy, most part of the show there were a string of lights in de video wall behind the stage defect. He kept on playing and never ordered his people to go and fix it, while he must've seen it. He didn't offer us a refund.

He started of with Gold. Gold for crying out loud. That's a song from the 94-95 era. Why does he play that?
One of his backing singers wasn't there. Apparently she was injured. He even let Ida sing a part. What a disgrace. He didn't even apologize. Did we get a refund? No!
Andy Allo clearly wasn't a styled musician as the others. She stood there holding her guitar, barely able to play the right chord. Is this Prince's famous band we're supposed to watch and pay good money for? He even let her sing.
Three times he let people on stage to dance and have fun. And always people from the frontrows.
He played nothing but well known songs the entire night. Well, at one point he played Chocolate, and people around me didn't know that song. They felt really bad that they couldn't sing along to it. He also played almost all full versions of the songs, no medleys or snippets. How dare he.

Between the encores he even had the house lights turned on, as if to say "it's over".
But what blew me off the most, is that almost 11.000 people, up to the last row in the stands were dancing and clapping and having a great time throughout the entire concert. Disgusting.

The show was nice, short and not very special (play PR after GOLD?!).

If you have seen the first ten shows of this tour you can miss this one.

I was on the left or the board, same height a few metres away smile. I thought about standing there, but I was too late. Traffic was hell!

I misenterpretated soundboard cause I mean the soundpit where the soundtechnicians work. So I was in the middle in front of that spot. It was a bit higher there and I thought I would oversee..but then I should have known better cause no taller men or women then in Holland...wink But pretty could spot afterall. I could have been more in the front but I brought my dad along and he needs a bit of space. Traffic was hell indeed, jams, delays and detours...It took us 2 hours instead of 1. But in the end worth all effort!
