This is, what, the 5th thread in this forum about this problem? Why are folks tolerating this? I don't care if it's Prince, people's auditory systems are at stake just by being at his shows apparently. That's terrible. Seriously.

Exposure to noise above certain decibel levels is a severe health hazard, with damaging effects that are usually irreversible after enduring the sounds for as long as his shows last. I mean, if his music is blasting at volumes higher than 115 db, just 10-15 minutes is enough time to induce hearing loss and other chronic ear afflictions. Even if his hearing is so bad he cranks the sound 'cause he's conditioned to loudness, to knowingly put audiences at high risk like this, especially without any forewarning of any kind to give people a chance to protect themselves, is not only negligent, but unlawful (at least in the United States).

I feel sorry about your experience, and I hope you and others don't develop any hearing issues now or later in the future. I don't know how difficult it would be, but I would definitely take action and contact the arena/stadium company with a complaint if I were you (for maybe a refund or something). If that doesn't work, and you sustain any damage, well.....I've read of people winning small lawsuits against other venues (and even bands themselves) for cases like this in this past.

It's a "repeat thread" obviously because the dangerous sound quality was "repeated" at another [different] concert. So drop the lock sign.
