Dude, pur-lease. We've seen the setlist. You paid €100 and half the gig Prince wasn't even on stage. http://princevault.com/in...y,_2011-am © Bart Van Hemelen

Bart, please go to bed, you were there apparently and your judgment is really obscured by your sleepdeprivation. Judging on others again, making valued statements and somehow valueing yourself and your opinion higher then others
It's really getting old by now.

We?!? I didn't know you were plural. NPG with Shelby on vocals played from 0:30 to 1:30, Prince played from 1:30 to 3:30. Whaddaya mean half the gig not on stage. True, he didn't sing all the songs, but he was playing guitar, rocking, jamming and the bottom line is: I was there and you weren't

It was BRILLTASTIC. Really. Everyone join the Funkparade!
So.....what's the plan for tonight. How serious should we take Prince's comment that he "will be back tomorrow" (i.e. tonight)? Any thoughts on this?

Typical 'afterparty' concert, I was very lucky to be there, heared it at 23 o'clock. The setlist:
Calhoun Square
I especially enjoyed Crimson And Clover in it's extended version and Thank You jammed untill the end of times....
Prince knows how party, he did it again!

He said the same thing in Paradiso in 95. I thought he was joking but he wasn't. I'd rather go to Amsterdam for nothing than to miss it a 2nd time!

Reading your posts for years I ask myself this?
What show was so awesome for you to experience that it set the levels for you? [Edited 7/25/11 7:29am]

Bart once saw PeeWee Herman in concert and that changed his life, immediately turning Peewee into his role-model. Bart was impressed forver by PeeWee's perfoamnce in the cinema.

Is the Belgian guy on here who tried to sleaze his way into the "backstage" area? You claimed to be a member here so please dude, come again tonight, you were the joke of the night backstage, everyone was laughing their ass off at you dumbass expense and your collection of multicolor "VIP" wristbands... Hope your face is still in tact after you got thrown out of the club... Funny that these freak ass idiots only seem to come out at gigs in The Netherlands, first the embarassing group of dumbfuck desperate grannies at NSJ who got kicked out after offering BJ's to get backstage and now also some obsessed freak at De Melkweg... About the gig; it was OK at best even "Calhoun Square" is starting to sound stale, I hope tonight will be more Prince... This gig wasn't even close to the fluke show Prince gave on night 2 of NSJ...

Praise to the people who attended. I was in Detroit so this one was a no brainer, but to be honest these days I cannot be bothered anymore by these so called surprise (after)shows (Ahoy august 19 86 was the first one, over 50 and still counting). The set list tells it all. Praise to the people who think this is all absolutely brilliant but you have lost me there. Sure I will still have a good time, but today I would rather listen to this stunning Night before the Reign 84 CD or any 88/89 aftershow.
