Imho another legendary concert by Prince. The funky jam was Flashlight ending with What's My Name.

I can't help myself and keep visiting the Org for concert updates. Every time it just pains me to read what a treat Prince is giving to his European fans.
Reading with great envy from the USA!! Enjoy while it lasts

What a setlist, arggh I am envious...
Great to see P is back to what he does best...being Prince If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

wow that setlist is insane.. dorothy parker, i like it there, bambi, colonized mind, strange relationship.... if he played wet dream, it would be very appropriate!

Was very disappointed after the Chaos and Disorder on Sunday made us miss the show. (We were right on time, but 4 tix pp sale and no waiting line whatsoever beat our speedy response to the announcement)
And then... when I was not expecting to stand a chance to get in, Monday went quite allright, nice waiting line, no problems getting in and being rewarded with the show we got!!!! Maybe not the true aftershow experimental kind of performance, but what a FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE!
Prince playing guitar and bass for most of the time, enjoying himself, a very nice Controversy (slow-played), Kiss in the extended extended version... and many many more.
Physically I'm a wreck after the late night Sunday (waiting) and the late night Monday (partying), but mentally I feel good, feel better, feel wonderful!

if princevault is right, shelby J was absent from the first 12 songs I don't mind her but I like that [Edited 7/26/11 2:38am]

Correct, it was not until 2 am that she appeared on stage; a good one and half hour into the show... She's okay and good to build up a party, but I was quite happy with little Shelby-time yesterday. Even Sexy Dancer was more Prince than heard in most recent shows.
Having said that, the finale with Play That Funky Music was a true party and Shelby gave a great contribution to the whole vibe!

I can't believe this setlist!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!! What a dream for every hardcore fan!!!!!!!! oh you guys who were there ... you are so incredibly lucky to get such a huge treat from Prince!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!
This is so amazing!!! In the middle of a tour with lots of awesome concerts, he gives such a stunning special club gig!!!!! The man really IS pure music!!!!!!!! I am so thrilled, and envy everyone who was able to witness this live!!
And it seems that they turned things around the second time ... more Prince, less Shelby. Since it seems to have been the other way round on Sunday night. I would have loved to be at the second one. Nothing against Shelby, but I do prefer ALL Prince!!!

These are exactly my feelings, she is great for getting people up and dancing but it's not her show. However i'm sure she doesn't really do anything prince doesn't ask of her, so prince needs to realise he doesn't need all these singers stealing the spotlight looks like a great set, hope it was a great performance too and glad you had a good one Dorothy Parker, I Like It There, Bambi, Colonized Mind and freaking Strange Relationship! how could it not have been great?

Didn't have the money to attend.
And have to read/ listen about all those people (most non fans) who had a great night at the Melkweg yesterday.
I don't want to hear anything about it! I can't handle it. I hurts. 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

They got the correct setlist now... I hadn't heard Cool or Dear Mr. Man last night and thought well maybe Prince blew one or two fuses in my brains and my memory didn't serve me anymore But after a good day sleep I knew for sure these songs were not played.

* What's My Name * The Balad of Dorothy Parker * Beautiful Strange * Guitar * Kiss * Chocolate * Cool * Mutiny * When We're Dancing Close and Slow * I like it There * Bambi * Colonized Mind * Dear Mr. Man * Flash Light (funky jam -"Flash Light"-lyrics, jammin' into "What's My Name")
Concert is done: playtime 165 minutes.

It was unbelievably funky and wicked last night , almost surreal Still buzzing now
I was saying to this dude that was next to me while queueing up before the show that i was hoping Shelby wasn't gonna be on for an hour before Prince would finally show up Thankfully my wish was granted
I was really surprised to hear TBODP and i thought i was about to lose it when i heard the opening notes of Chocolate (he didn't censor the bit about 'doing that body so hard' ... etc btw ) and then Mutiny next
(he didn't play Cool)
I liked how he made the crowd chant 'I like it there' (you like it where ?)
Prince's guitar playing was phenominal Even during the funky songs he was soloing wickedly
It was cool seeing him play keys and guitar simultaneously He was jamming like crazy and was in a fantastic mood Gotta admit i even liked Shelby on Flashlight
I was rather surprised that he only did one ballad (When we're dancing) (which was great btw)
All in all it was truly a phenominal show
All hail Prince
