What's your favorite Prince concert tour?

Mine is a tie between the One Night Alone...Live Tour and the Musicology Live 2004ever Tour.

THE GOLD EXPERIENCE

Must say I really enjoyed the "Hit n Run" shows & the aftershows that were taking place during "Lovesexy" & "Musicology"

That being said, I really wish "SOTT" & "Nude Tour" would have come to the States... Those were great tours.

Lovesexy

Closely followed by 21 nights in London, purely because I was at the 9th September aftershow and it was awesome AND I got to stand within 3 feet of him.

I still hold a BIG GRUDGE that the Parade, SOTT & Nude tours never came to the States.

IMO, Prince was at his peak then.... & to not even have the opportunity to see those shows still pisses me off....!!!

I'm sure some really stupid people are so stupid that they are actually intelligent. Of course, in the ENTIRE history of the internet, nobody has EVER considered putting their opinion on here. Until my post, nobody ever went off topic, or wrote what they felt like writing. I must be some sort of revolutionary.

Not to mention, that by writing my opinion, my intelligence is now in question. Damb. I always thought I was smart.

For sheer spectacle D&P, those were my first Prince shows.

For music, it has to be Gold Experience or ONA, great fucking gigs those.

The one tour I would have loved to have attended would be Parade.

The years of the Symbol and when he did all the Jam Of The Year Concerts. He played so many shows for the Symbol tour and he did so many shows in NY for Jam Of The Year. It was so great seeing him so many times in NYC.

Agree, that 3 yr stint from 86 to 88 was incredible, and mostly all in Europe, ok, the US got Lovesexy, but from my understanding they didnt really get it, and Prince was pretty depressed about the whole thing, hence the whole "If I could just get ONE person to understand" stuff that started coming out in the fazines in the UK at the time.

21 nights in London, the aftershows were fantastic.
