Does anyone know the name of the song that was played as a bridge between Joy In Repetition and The Love We Make on the Saturday at the NSJ (the second show)? Prince mentions something like 'nothing more' and Andy sings... or isn't that a song but alternative lyrics to the beat of The Love We Make?

I'm still looking out for that, was wondering the same

Thanx for clearing that up, I had some doubts with that one Miller vs. Davis, but the way you say it, it's Davis.

This was at the Aftershow.

But it was Janelle and her band who did that song.

Prince & The NPG were not on stage.

So I would say, that you can delete that song from the list.

Same for "At Last". Paloma Faith did it. But Prince was not on stage.

I can't understand why he has done so many damn covers!!! does he not think people buy the tickets to his show to see and hear his music? the odd cover is all good and fine, but this is just weird for an artist who didn't release a single cover on his albums until Emancipation...

I understand what you're saying, but the band was on stage wink, so I count those.

The Look of Love is by Burt Bacharach, not Dusty Springfield. That's like saying 'I Feel for You' is by Chaka Khan

When 'interpolation' is stated, part of the song (lyrics or music) have been played during the performance of another song.

i've heard prince perform at least 3 different versions of controversy on this tour. Prince probably counts different versions of songs with same title..

I was thinking the same.

And probably, when you count the songs he did in the American leg of the tour, the total number of songs passes the 200 and is heading for the 300.

Prince songs performed in the US, but not in Europe:

Adore

Scandalous

So Far, So Pleased

I Love U, But I Don't Trust You Anymore

Somewhere Here On Earth

Love... Thy Will B Done

Purple Music

Cloreen Baconskin

Extraordinary

Elixer

Uptown

Beginning Endlessly

17Days

I Feel 4 U

Power Fantastic

Boom (instrumental)

When She Comes (new song)

Same Page (new song)

Dolphin (only rehearsed during soundcheck)

I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man (only rehearsed during soundcheck)

& several songs in the sampler set like 'The Word', 'Love', 'Thieves In The Temple' and 'The Screams Of Passion'.
