I like the Jedi approach

Im going with its all good! Ive got the standard tickets, so be it - and the way I see it, maybe I can see the stage, maybe Im even close to the scene, but....I kinda dont need to be; as long as I can hear the music and maybe get a glimpse of the musicians Im good - I have no need to smell his armpits Im sure the whole concert will be a big great funky party, no matter where you are standing/sitting....

ICO screwed up and they know it! Now they are trying to do a bit of damage control by FB-responding to the customer complaints about poor marketing.

Is it a typical Danish culture thing to say 'I must have misunderstood....' when clearly they mean 'Your information was not precise' - and in this case '...which made me buy the most expensive tickets'?

Of course, some would probably add, it's not an easy task being the promoter of a Prince gig... The blame game is on!

Well im Danish. I dont want to be part of the stereo type "its a typical Danish culture thing" That Said i aknowledge that the information on ico is poor. Still im looking forward to my VIP lounge experience in august: great that hé is coming back here

Due to massive demand from the many ticket buyers the NPG Festival will put 500-ticket acquisitions in sales to the Inner Circle on Monday June 27 at 10.30 hrs. through billetlugen.dk. The price is DKK 400 incl. fee and is valid for first-served basis. Ticket sales for Inner Circle stop on July 4. at. 10.00. The ticket gives access to a limited area right at the scene. Note that the Inner Circle ticket will initially only be sold to ticket buyers who have already secured a ticket to the festival on August 6.

And what do they mean by many? And then selling 500!?

On June 22nd I called ICO: they assured me there where definitely no plans for selling tickets for an inner circle. The Purple VIP tickets would give access to the first rows from the stage. Greedy bastards. It is like you buy your diner in a fancy restaurant and when your food arrives the waiters asks: ‘oh you are one of those posh people who wants a fork and knife to eat with, that will be an additional 50 €/$’.

No VIP ticket gives access to Inncer Circle. To get access to Inner circle you need to buy the add on ticket especially for Inner Circle. It's possible for everyone to buy this category.

It's just a great way of selling:

people who already bought a tickt are probably more willing to pay this little (cough cough) extra since they already own a ticket.

and of course these are not tickets, they are added extra's to an already sold ticket.

(Must say, since i will be off to Legoland Billund (DK) in a few days i wonder how i will be screwed overthere, maybe pay extra teoactually get into one of the rides once i am in the park or something?)

No, they need to get an idea about 'demand' first.
So it is a DK thing to act this way.

You could get ICO to court, but that is quite an investment, energy and moneywise. My advise: ask for a change of ticket: let them swap your purple VIP ticket 'with view of the stage' to a standard ticket with a gold circle ticket. If they refuse let them know you are going to your national consumer organisation with your case. And don't you have television shows in Denmark on how people get maltreated by sellers? Something like watchdog in the UK for example?

I also received the mail at 10:48, not a gmail account. So, I guess the mails were out late from the senders side.
