? about MTL Jazz Festival i always been very excited about de Montreal Jazz Festival every year, and what i have heard about Prince performance at the same fest in 2001 makes me completely insane about this show. But, do U think Prince will play mainly the show of Welcome 2 America tour, or makes something exclusive for the Jazz festival, as the Jam of 2001.
i hope playing in front of (only) 2000 people will drive him wild a bit, but he probably do that often, (1rst time i see him)

Well check this article out… I too was hoping for something different, & special for the Jazz Fest but I'm not sure that's gonna happen:

Don't sweat it Ms. Voog. I am sure Prince will play whatever set he feels like. You should have a great time for the shows. Hope you can check out some of the other shows in town. Lots of free concerts.

your not the only one.. i have negative thoughts about the show on the 24th that i'm going to see. i feel like he's gona play a much shorter set on that date since he'll perform on the next day. but all n all, lets keep in mind that its a world renowned festival which will motivate him to give us something memorable. Prince has demonstrated an insane stamina for concert performance, so I wouldn't worry too much about a short set. The last week in LA he did 3 shows at the House of Blues on Wednesday, starting at 9 pm and ending at 4 am, and then shows at the Forum on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Sunday show lasted 3 hours. And apparently he jammed at his house until the sun came up after the last Forum show.
I couldn't keep up with him just as an audience member. I saw the first two shows at the HOB, Friday at the forum, had to skip Saturday so I could rest (which I regret, heard it was off the hook), and ended with Sunday's show.

I was thinking of hopping on a plane to check out one of these shows, but I don't have a passport. Which probably is saving me a lot of money!
Enjoy the shows, folks.
