A little early but I'd like to make this request to fellow Org'ers who'll be going by car.

I'm a 21 year old student, and I'll be going to the show by train. If there is an aftershow I'm definatly going to that as well. Now if the aftershow is in Gent, there's no problem, but if it happens to be outside of Gent I have no transportation (trains won't be running anymore) so I need to find another way to get there! So if there are any people here who know they'll be going by car and want to go to the aftershow afterwards as well, just send me an orgnote so we can arrange something. Of course I'll be more than happy to pay for gas.

No worry.
Just be there quickly as the otehrs do not wait.
You can always get a ride in situations like that.
You are way too much speculating and not enjoying the show. nod

Rest assured I will be enjoying the show! But as I don't know anyone who'll be going by car and hitting up an aftershow myself, it would be nice to have a contact. If not I'll probably end up asking random people there once an aftershow would be announced, but they might not be interested in going of course!

15 years ago a ticket was 45 guilders...about 22 euro...that is what i paid for Den Bosch...

What was your wage at the time? Now, divide that by 2.2 and compare it with someone of the same age now. What I'm saying is: After 15 years it doesn't really make sense anymore to calculate back to guilders. You earn more, you pay more.

What is that for reasoning?

You appear oblivious about inflation.

Inflation is a crime.

It is.

As a carefully growing money supply (when the economy grows as well) should not increase inflation.

But due to intentional mismanagement inflation is seen as a lesser crime even though it is pure theft. Every day all of us suffer from this phenomenon.

So if we earn more, we do not necessarily pay more in justly arranged money system.

Also the conversion from whatever currenty to the euro was not so nice as they insisted it was. Prices went through the roof and now ineed you can see the results of that inflation.

Euro == Dutch guilder in some areas of the markets.

Or is it because we (have to) pay more we (need to) earn more?

Wages lag after inflation, most of the time.

And no goverment promises their employees inflation compensation after a year. Not one governmnet taht I know of.

Even though this would be fair: nothing extra, just to stay even with inflation.

STIJNKRISTINE

Okay, let's get this straight.

I (Stijn) am not aware of any ticketsale for a possible aftershow on july the 6th.

I only did an interview with a radio station and shared information about the possible way things might happen that night.

I DO NOT ORGANISE , NOR SELL TICKETS FOR ANY POSSIBLE AFTERSHOW.

I'm sorry about the caps, just want to clear some crazy rumors.

wink

I remember how it used to go, before cellphones and internet.

Just listen. Keep your eyes & ears open.

If you need an aftershow to make your day, besides the concert(s), what is going on?
Just enjoy the shows and be happy with those as aftershows can disappoint too.

yeahthat

Although an after concert could be a better experience than the main show, it should always be seen as a nice extra, on top of the main concert.

In short. Prince had some personal trouble about a year ago, but thinks he's got the best band ever now.

He's gonne hit Ghent with a sledgehammer and he predicts the concerts will be long remembered.

There's some chitchat about covers and other bands and the defenition of real music in th e article too.

Well,

Had the exact same spot as the day before.

Great show, great view and P came up to this end of the catwalk this day...
