I just wanted to say a big "Thank You" to Prince for a great concert in Fresno on May 18th! I am new to this site and have not seen much mentioned about the Fresno show so I thought I would share my experience!

I loved Purple Rain Movie/Album in the 80"s and enjoyed many of his songs on the dance floor in my crazy days. I was excited to see him perform but did not expect the the effect that he had on me that night. I was dancing and singing and groovin that night! It probably sounds like nothing unusual from a Prince concert. For me it was. I have been in a bit of a funk the last few years(divorce,loss of father etc.)

I focused on my business and never took time to have any fun!! That night changed that..I felt like I was 21 yrs old again! You wouldn't think a concert would change your perspective on your life, but it has!!

It got me out of my FUNK!!!!!!!!!!! I also went to the Forum on his last night(I got bit by the Prince bug!)

Both shows were great but I always will remember and hold special his performance in Fresno! That is were my soul was re-awakened!!Prince we love you here in Fresno!!!!! Any other Fresno people share your experience!

Nice read. I am from the Central Valley as well (Tulare) and I was suprised that he chose Fresno as one of his stops. He has been there before but I didn't expect it. It was a great show. I am a hardcore admirer of his music and would have loved to have heard some of his newer music but I count it all good.

I caught a couple of show's in Los Angeles as well as Oakland and that is where I got my new music fix. But Fresno was live. A girl who workes at Lowes here in Tulare was listening to a conversation that I had with a friend who asked me how the show was and she mentioned that she saw Prince come out on a kids bike with training wheels before the show. I'm telling you the dude is a trip! I am glad you enjoyed your self.

I totally agree with Ooh La La Lady! I felt so honored that Prince came to Fresno. I'm young but have an old soul for music. I always told myself I would love to see Prince before I die and finally I did!!!! He put on a great show without a dull moment. My attention was focused 100% on the little man (considering my husband was next to me) Ha Ha. I saw him again about a week later at the forum. Could never get enough!!! Something about this man is mesmorizing. Fresno loves the purple yoda!

I know I saw some photos of him riding his bike but not with training wheels!!!ha ha! I think he does it everywhere he goes after a concert. Maybe to unwind and chill a bit. Although he is different I wouldn't want him to be any other way!
