How Many Pit Standing? 10K?

Cant be? Cuz u would never get at the front of the stage. Seems illogical, maybe seats better veiw than standing pit?

The whole Forum holds 18000. Purple Pit is a few hundred maybe. Terrible seats - you would be looking at the back of the band most of the time. That GA pit should be on the opposite side, along the sides of the arrow.

Yeah it was not at all crowded down there for the May 7 show which was close to sold out. Maybe 400 people with plenty of space.

Not the greatest seats, but better than the usual "behind the stage" experience, he did come around regularly & usually had one of the singers there to hang out with us. From where we were on the far side, I could see Prince probably 75% of the time.

I was in the Pit when they had seating in it one night in the second weekend of shows, I think - we got to see a lot of Shelby J and some of the band, but it was hard to see the show itself. Prince came back there a few times for us and we went nuts, of course, but there were long stretches when we couldn't see him at all, and the big screens were too close and high to see. Yeah, I wondered why they put it there. Still, we had a BLAST and got our groove on - there were seats, but no one was sitting!

So not as good viewing as precieved. So wheres best place? Seating 2 areas, or purple pit?

I didn't mean to make it sound like a bad scene - you are going to have an awesome time, and when he is at the pit side, you will be really close! Way closer than all those peeps in the loge and way closer than I'll be in the COL tonight. Plus, by averages, you HAVE to be taller than my GF & I are, so you'll see more than we did in the Pit. Have a great show!

The best overall seats are the Loge along the side in the 20s. You can see all the action, you are quite close, Prince faces your way much of the time, and he tends to hang out on that side. Plus you can see the screens.

If you want to be able to be within touching distance of Prince (but miss him much of the time) the VIP seats would be good for that, ones toward front best.
