That's the math I was doing and that's why I got my closing night ticket the day after HOB performances.

Pretty sure it was 15 at the Forum... Remember he didn't play in LA the weekend before Memorial Day & one week did 2 shows instead of 3... I dunno, It's all a big purple blur to me.

Although I've been a fan of Prince for many years, this is the first time I had the chance to see him live. That said, I certainly made up for lost times by seeing him as many times as I could in the past month or so (10 out of 21 Nites, including HOB show #1). I also thought he would play 21 Nites at the Forum, but I wonder if it has to do with low ticket sales for some of the nites that he decided to "cut" the Forum shows down to 15. I went to the 5/13 show and there were several Loge sections that were practically empty. Despite the low turnout, he jammed til 1 am. Loved that nite, also because Stevie Wonder was there too!!! For those of you who have seen him over the years, is he known to announce concerts so close in time? I mean, hello, I had to buy Sade tix a year in advance.

Feeling some withdrawal last night, I rewatched the 4/13 Lopez show with Prince, which I dvr'd. (I love that interview, btw.) I noticed for the first time that George Lopez introduced Prince by saying "Kicking off his 21 Nite Stand ...," so it made me wonder whether Prince intended all along to include the Lopez show as part of the 21 Nites???

In any case, as much as I was resigned to think this was the end, the appearance of this on LiveNation.com gave me a glimmer of hope.

Good catch That banner has just been put up recently. I've been checking up on the Adele shows (that are now cancelled) on Livenation and hadn't seen it. Maybe if not LA, another city will be fortunate to have what we just experienced!!

Yeah, this ad was recently put up. It wasn't there when I bought my Don Rickles tickets yesterday!

Yeah, but the banners must use cookies because all the ads are so cal specific. So if it's another city, I would expect it still to be local for me

Uh...what banner? I just went to Live Nation and all it said was "We currently do not have any tickets on-sale for Prince."

The dude is clueless. Reposts tweets that praise him to high heaven (pathetic), is supposed to be a writer 24/7 but can't write a single sentence without at least one glaring typo or spelling error, posts crappy phone photos from Prince's Forum gigs and labels those "exclusive".

Oh, and he claims he broke the news of Bin Laden's death. Funny how he isn't mentioned in any of the gazillion articles that talked about how Bin Laden's death was first announced on Twitter.
