Prince Back in iRELAND

Hi i really hope someone out there can help me. I wondering what the best tickets to get for the Irish Prince gig? the most expensive ones are seating and back a bit (based on the plans ticket master have put up) but the cheeper ones are at the front and standing. And as its going to be a funk fest why would you be sitting?

Im just wondering if anyone can shed any light on whether the most expensive are closer or better or does it just entitle a seat? I want to be as close to the stage as possible..

Thanks. smile

The closest to the stage are 99.50 , the section is called 'pit standing'. Nobody knows how many are in that section but it's as close as you're gonna get! The next section behind that (standing) is 89.50. Hope this helps! There are a lot of comments on this in the concerts forum too.

I'll tell you why. Because when you get to a certain age standing around for the best part of a day and leaping around for a couple of hours just isn't an option.

Sitting down and enjoying the music I came to hear is the only way I'll do concerts these days (and before you laugh, that day will come for you too, some day, so enjoy leaping about while... well, while you still enjoy it).

So, if you're still in your leaping-about years then the best tickets for you are probably going to be the pit-standing ones. They'll also be the ones that sell out first.

The most expensive tickets just entitle you to a seat, they are definitely not closer, although whether or not they are better really depends on what you want.

The layout is 3000 pit standing, 3500 in each seating block, and 25,000 standing. You can see the layout here.

€135 for a seat is way, way overpriced - at least double what it should be. Ticket prices based on reality would be nice.

Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.
