PRINCE TO PLAY DUBLIN JULY 30TH !!! Prince is set to play a gig in Dublin this summer.
The artist will perform at Malahide Castle on Saturday, July 30 as part of his upcoming European tour. Prince pulled out of a one-off show in Croke Park in 2008 just 13 days before the concert was due to take place, but promoters for this summer's gig have vowed he will not cancel this time. A spokesperson for promoters POD and ICO Concerts assured fans that Prince was committed to the Irish leg of his tour, saying: "This is part of an overall tour - it's not a one-off gig." Seating and standing tickets for the event go on sale this Friday, prices start at €89.50. Prince's last gig in Ireland was at the Point in 2002.

Malahide Castle is stunning, I was there about two years ago, if it's sunny it will be a great venue! The traffic will be horrible because when you get to a certain point, there's only a two-way, narrow street that leads up to it! LOL! Trolls be gone! | |

Hey Prince's Sarah--I know what you mean. I'm on the East coast and took a bus up to NYC for the 2/7 show. I couldn't make the other shows and yes it seems like he's all over the place. I'm also a bit disappointed he's not staying in America a bit longer... Trolls be gone! | |
