i am so confused. pollstar said we are at 20 shows, including the 2 troub + 3 tomorrow. who's math is right? are we at 21 this weekend or 20?

so the venue info wont be released til tomorrow at 3pm. all these shows HAVE to be in one place. i'm thinking the roxy.

Ugh, I'm re-thinking my post. If he counts Lopez 2nite, Troubadour & tomorrow Night, it could be 21. Dang, I was gonna hit Friday & Saturday night Memorial Weekend. Now I gotta go Sunday too!!!!????? At least we got Monday off.

Yeah, but he budgeted 4 hours between doors at The Troubadour and played 2 to 2 1/2 hours. This time he's only budgeting 2 hours between the last two shows. Even if he starts all shows late, the budgeted times is probably the same. If the jazz show goes longer than 45 minutes, I'll be surprised. And wouldn't he be wasting more time in between shows if he was jumping venues?

Grrrrr. Plunking down $100 for an unknown venue with an unknown performance time is a little madenning

yeah, im thinking im gonna bail. look more like a 1.5 hour set, but even still, the one i can afford is the "jazzy" one and i made it to the first troubadour show, so i've seen "that show" already.

god damn, prince doesn't make it easy to be a fan, huh?

This is mind bending - I also saw there wasn't that much time with the 2nd set. And I'm wondering why the first is vauled at $200 and the 2nd $100..

My only guess is the length of the set

Middle show is supposed to have a capacity of 250. Roxy holds 500. On the other hand, the REDCAT Disney theater downtown holds exactly 250. Hmmmm....

Prince announces night of three intimate (pricey) shows at venues to be determined

Seriously, if you haven't seen Prince yet, the Purple One is giving L.A. fans three more chances this week.

The singer -- whose Welcome 2 America Live "21-Night Stand" residency is in full swing -- announced he will play a batch of three intimate shows in one night on Wednesday at venues to be determined. Tickets go on sale at noon Tuesday at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

Tickets for his eleventh-hour double set at West Hollywood’s Troubadour went for $100 a pop, so no surprise fans can expect to drop major coin for these shows: Seats for his first jam, scheduled for 7 p.m., start at $200; at 10, the show dubbed Jazz Café goes for $100; and the midnight-hour charity show goes for $500.

Prince is still expected to play at the Forum on Friday through Sunday. Tickets at Ticketmaster and LiveNation.

ok . 12.01 and i have a ticket for the 10pm show. Ticketmobster worked well this time

Well it showed sold out for me after 1 minute!!! It's only 12:03 and no luck here!!! Tried for the 10pm show...

the jazz cafe tix are still avail. i pulled them up 3x just now. try again

I got one ticket for the early show!

Just got two for the 7pm - over the moon!

Tix still coming up for first show!!

got tix for the late nite & jazz. these venues better be close together or it's gonna be stressful!

And just called ticketmaster about the Private Charity Show because tickets weren't showing up. It's AUCTION ONLY.
