Some douchebag on craigslist (Mathew Asher Wolf) advertised $150 on CL. Knowing full well that a Colonade ticket is not worth that replied to me - if I was still interested they were $600 for the pair! ???

Prince with King..? Sounded at first like a bit of misdirection to throw people off in order to keep The Time as much of a secret as possible. I still wouldn't be surprised if something else went down at showtime but it seems that this is a legit group, at least.

Hmmmmm...softens the blow somewhat if I can't pull off a "purple miracle" (borrowed that phrase from someone who used it in the Marketplace) for tonight...if my LA 21 Nite Stand ended last night with MJB in the building and a super-hot set from Prince it would NOT suck. At all.

But I still wouldn't be surprised if seven brothers, six brown and one beige, made their way to the glyph-shaped stage around 8:30 tonight...

I was at the Forum yesterday at 4:30pm and the line was maybe 25-30 people deep at that point with more coming. Box office had nothing and announced a total sell-out for Saturday and Sunday. Security moved the people away from the windows and against the retaining wall and explained that IF more tickets came through people would be allowed to purchase but that was a big IF.

I don't know what eventually came through or what time. I know that whatever did, the box office was not motivated to drop the prices down to pre-Memorial Day weekend levels (ie, no $25.00 unsold floor loges, risers or lower colonnade).

VERY tough ticket to get now. I owe the friend who got me one big time.

At the forum now. The line is about 50-70 deep. The line is moving but very slowly. Word is they are releasing purple pit for $25
