VIP tickets and after party info

hi

i am wondering if anyone has had any luck getting a vip table for any of the shows? also, is it true that if you have a vip ticket you can get access to the after show? if so, which vip tickets do they honor? thanks everyone!

I splurged (and got lucky) and got a table last night. Really awesome (though some of the shorter people around me complained they couldn't see that well.) My date got up on stage to dance -- but the die-hard fan (me) didn't! sad

The VIP table tickets do NOT include access to the club (pre or post show.) I asked and was told that pre-show was only for guest list and Purple Pit wristbands. Aftershow is guest list only.

You can buy the VIP tables on ticketmaster or stubhub.

I got lucky and got a pair through ticketmaster for VIP2. Then last night I realized I got double lucky and got one of the tables right up against the stage! Price was $210 each with the fees.

awesome! so when u bought ur tix on ticketmaster did u just click on the price and then best available? it confuses me because vip 1 is all the vip tables, however i only would want table 1 or 2, otherwise i think it would be better to sit in vip 2 which is a&b on the map. i havent tried to buy them yet so hopefully when u try and purchase them it will at least show which table you get. i guess i will just have to cross my fingers and buy them right as they go on sale. thanks for all the help and glad u got such awesome seats!!!

I did get mine via tickemaster by asking for "best available" soon after they went on sale.

Let me clarify -- there are four sections of tables: VIP1, VIP2, VIP3 and VIP4. I have never seen VIP1 tickets for sale via Tickmaster or broker. This is where the celebs sit so it might be guest list only. Personally I'd try and hold out for VIP2 because 3 and 4 are kinda behind the stage.

Via ticketmaster, sections A and D and some LOGE are also considered VIP. Tickemaster even says it's a table -- but it's not obviously.

As far as actual table #s within a VIP section -- it seems to change every night. We were at table 8 last night and it was against the stage. Table #1 was out by the aisle. The night before, table 8 was out against the aisle.

Good luck.

I just checked out of curiosity & prices are different now... loge seats are $50 and VIP tables are $350.... that's at 2 minutes to 6 so onder if we will be able to see those drop.

$25 seats are showing Not Available right now. Actually in the last two minutes I checked again & now the $50 seats are gone.

I posted earlier that I think they're messing around with "dynamic pricing". It's Saturday night & looked like it was selling well.

I went VIP last Saturday (due to a connection) but didn't want the floor area (prefer LOGE sight line).

And yes, you have to have an inside track to attend the after-show jams in the Forum Club.

i also noticed they raised the prices for vip. 360 is too much for me to pay:( is the loge really close to the floor seats?

Depends. I think the best Loge seats are in sections 26 - 29 and 8 - 11. They are located on the sides but closer to the stage. If you can a seat near the front, it offers the best view of the entire stage. These seats are more expensive initially, but you might be able to get them for $25 if you're patient and keep checking back.

It sounds like if the show is close to selling out, they aren't as likely to offer unsold seats for $25.

It may easier to get a good seat if you're willing to wait for a Thursday or Friday show. Last Saturday looked pretty packed.

ok so i just got vip tix for 5/29. they went up (250) so they are in section A row 1, then seats 12. im wondering if there is an actual seating chart of the seats so u know which side of the row u are sitting in. either way i hope the floor seats will be awesome. i know u dont get a full view of the stage as he moves around alot but still pretty cool to be that close im thinking:)

VIP tickets WILL give you access to the aftershow! I was one of the very lucky 40-50 people in the audience in LA on the 13th, and it was an insanely funky show! Well worth the VIP ticket!

I have one extra VIP ticket for San Jose on Thursday, if anyone is interested.

In VIP, if you have an odd number of people buying tix, do you have to buy an extra ticket? I was looking at the Purple Circle and availabilty seemed to only be in numbers of two.
