In San Francisco now hearing tidbits of a surprise club gig tonight in the Bay area- This is driving me nuts- someone out there please chime in- Was at San Jose show last night and been hearing this all day and last night

A lot of people wearing purple wandering around the Fillmore off and on since early afternoon- Also saw a Fillmore/Live Nation employee arrive hours ago- the gate out front was up then down- Now that car and employee are gone- Drove here from out of state so really hoping something is coming to fruition.

My friends roommate is working at the Fillmore tonight, said they are just doing cleanup. He said he heard the rumor too but there was no truth to it.

would have been nice. typically, how late can these things be announced?

Nada folks- Heard repeated "it was gonna happen, it was supposed to go down" from the Fillmore & Boom Boom Room - employees from both claimed there was supposed to be a show but it didn't happen... Oh well, Sheila E. Saturday Night plus who knows!

Sounds similar to what happened with the Troubadour... rumors of a gig on 5/10 (Tues), didn't happen. Then boom, 2 shows on 5/11.

Please note I have no inside information at all. But I find it interesting that it seems like they tried to get something going on Friday but it didn't happen. Same thing happened here in LA the day before the Troubadour shows.

Yeah, but the Troubadour shows were standalone gigs--not Forum aftershows. San Jose is over an hour's drive from San Francisco; I can't see a reason for him to make that kind of trip to play an aftershow. He had the option to play the Fillmore last night but it didn't happen for whatever reason.

I think what he's getting at is that maybe there's hope of an aftershow *in San Jose* tonight.

Got a midday flight tomorrow - I can party all night tonight and sleep all the way home tomorrow, hehehe!!

i can't think of many venues in san jose, hmmm ya never know.
