So what is happening?

Is there going to be anyone else playing the same day as him, or is it just him on the Sunday?

Gotta plan these things....

I was just about to buy tickets and thought better of it. £70/80 for another 'last chance to hear the hits'? Cancel, cancel... Then I'm reminded of the 6th and the 16th afters here and I wanna go again! Arghh!

Congrats on the babba anyway. Must be bloody good tea you're drinking.

Some shitty Madonna concert I went to in 2003 (never again) had a £25 booking fee. I think it's a percentage of the ticket price as I suppose the ticket companies need to make some money. I think Ticketmaster were forced to incorporate the booking fees in the advertised prices so not to surprise you at the end. I do however begrudge paying £2 for a PDF printable ticket. It costs them absolutely nothing to send that by e-mail. Most e-tickets are free.

i realised i hadnt got the free child tic on the order so i emailed them, they said add it on so i went back into myeventim and did that the FREE child ticket also atrracts a £2 print fee unbelievable eh?

Transport options back to London:

(Trains - no good as the last one is at 22.30, who knows if they'll put on any extra trains on the Sunday night??)

I just called the Big Green Coach company and they're looking into providing a service leaving at 23.30 (from festival site) on the Sunday night.

They'll be confirming this by Monday (or sooner)...You can't buy a single, so you'll have to buy a return coach ticket which costs £24.

The coach return ticket is cheap but im afraid theres gonna be traffic going up there and what if Prince is still performing after 11:30? In Arras i think he didn't get off until midnight or quarter to 12 if i can remember, someone can clarify me on this, but i know it was late. I was thinking more catching the train from Victoria station....but can't think what to do afterwards yet! If the curfew at hop farm is 11pm then the coach will be great for the return back to London.

I wonder if it's an option to get a taxi back? Do you think would be more than £25-30 if there were a few sharing? OMG Cat. I RAN from Arras to the train station, I thought I was going to die, my life literally flashed before my eyes and I nearly gave up running saying to my friends really dramatically 'just leave me, save yourselves' before arriving at the train station and standing on the train for an age waiting for everyone to get there. What a loser I am! LOL!

Not read all threads but am I the first Prince obsessive to spot that the date 03+07+11 adds up to give us the Princely number of 21 lol

Just bagged my tickets this lunch time - bit cheaper than flying to LA for his 21 night stint there, which was tempting my very naughty and frivolous side razz

I just booked the Sunday coach return journey. I think it's safer as if Prince ends up playing a bit late, I expect the coach will wait a few minutes for ticket holders to arrive compared to a train.

it makes it sound like prince and morrissey are going to have some kinda jam session together. somehow i can't imagine prince doing his best johnny marr impressions in a 3 way guitar duel with don henley and joe walsh with morrissey moaning about his girlfriend being in a coma (even though he's gay), but then i never expected prince to cover creep and then radiohead cover lotusflower, so anything can happen

Hey, when did that all happen? I mean Creep and Lotusflower...Why wasn't I told?!

Just noticed that the "Sunday" tab in the lineup section has disappeared. I think that they are editing the special guests and they will be up soon..... Fingers crossed no Larry. He kinda ruined Wercheter last year. I personally think it's better to have different styles of music and let Prince handle the funk. I really am gonna be disappointed if Larry is there doing countless encores. He's welcome to play bass for P but not do an hour and half set PLEASE... And as for Mint Condition....

I very much doubt it about Larry playing as he isn't really known here in the UK so no-one would really know who it was. No offence to Larry but he has never been marketed or sold over here!

Dont kid yourself, he opened for Prince during the 1998 wembley shows. I just hope Prince does not choose the other acts, unless it is The Time.
