Check your Ticketmaster tix--the system is screwed up!

I just spent two hours calling Ticketmaster four times this evening to find out what happened to the Prince LA Forum tix I purchased for Memorial Day weekend and also Janelle Monae tix I bought a month ago! It took me that long to sort out with different customer service people why I wasn't sent tix for all these concerts either directly to my e-mail or why there was no record of it in my Ticketmaster account. Beware!!!! Double-check your tix, make sure they are on your Ticketmaster account, and print them out immediately! I had to print out my Prince tix twice because they changed the bar code due to their fuck-ups! I will not buy tix through Ticketmaster for a long time after this! I will stick to venues where I can go to the box office. I can see why Prince would be fed up--I definitely am! Feel like I'm dealing with At&T! razz lol But I still have my tix now--cause I'm a stubborn bitch who doesn't take "no" for an answer! lol

Something indeed may be amiss with Ticketmaster's system. Last Friday night 5/13, a woman claimed to have the same seat as mine...looked at her ticket and sure enough, it was the same date & location. I went to Guest Services and they looked up the ticket by the credit card and my info came up so I was the owner of the seat...no problems ensued, but the fact remains that apparently the system printed at least two tickets for the same seat. Gremlins in the system..?

Yeah, major "GREMLINS!" I found that out last night--that is why I am warning peeps to check their credit card orders and tix! neutral

The person next to me at will call was turned away with counterfeit tickets. Be careful out there!

If you purchased tickets by phone, they will not show up in the "order history" section. After you click on "order history" there is a section below for phone orders. You have to enter the phone number you called from and the credit card number used. Then, your confirmation number / tickets will appear.

If you ordered online, well that just majorly sucks.

How can there be counterfeit tickets at will call? They print them right there...

Speaking of TicketShafters, a friend related the following.
Someone she knew acquired "tickets" for one of the shows through them, showed up at the gate only to find out she'd purchased "parking passes"! disbelief

I must say in all the years i've dealt with them, i've never had a problem...yet.

I've had issues when calling Ticketmaster directly as well. I purchased tickets early in the week for the 5/14 show & requested an eTicket. After two days & not receiving the email, I called them back, verified my email & they sent it again.... Still nothing.

The next day I received a confirmation email BUT NOT MY TICKETS...

I called TM again and they informed me that the tickets had been emailed to me & that they had ALREADY BEEN PRINTED OUT!!! Not Cool...

They were able to cancel those tickets & have my tickets waiting for me at will call but WTF?

I have had no problems with online Ticketmaster purchases though.

You would think that with Ticketmaster/Livenation being a monopoly, they would at least be good at what they do. Instead, they are terrible.

Remember when they told the SEC that the merger would lead t oa better service and value for consumers?? what a joke.
