I saw Fishbone in a small venue a few years ago, and yes, they would make a great opening act for Prince.

Thank you

May 21 on "Rapture" day, Debbie Harry of Blondie should open for Prince and they should do a duet of Rapture. Also Wil Smith should sing as Fresh Prince (with his daughter Willow), opening for Prince. The Jacksons, Prince always plays The Jacksons Dont Stop til You Get Enough in his set.

No opening act. A three hour show. First half, the hits. Second half, new material.

Or, he could do like 5/13 and have an opener...that night it was Janelle Monae...AND do a three-hour set. Prince didn't come on until shortly after 10pm and we didn't get out of the Forum until after 1am...
