Marsha Ambrosius as the opener followed by Morris Day & The Time as the special guests. (Jerome MUST be present)

That would really make my life.

Revolutionary

Nile Rogers of Chic- He is a LEGEND and has cancer- would LOVE to see him jam with Prince- Chic is one of the hottest groups of all time- PSYCHO underrated- Definitely my favorite artist from the "disco" era- but you definitely can't just put Chic in that category- they transcend so many styles all in one, and did it with sass and class... P- give NIles a call- I'm sure it would REALLY lift his spirits... yes

Fail

Why is this a Fail? mad

W&L have a new album coming out and have a strong following with Prince fans. It would be perfect for them to open - play unheard W&L music - join Prince on stage and even sell their cd's at the concert!

I agree with xperiencedone - whenever I sit down and wait for the concert to start - my hope is that one day - Wendy, Lisa and the Revolution would come on stage worship It would blow everyone's mind!

Whether you agree or not - they are still members of the Prince family and yes now you could come back with another "Fail" comment like you've been doing to all other ideas you dont care for

It's a fail becuase you did not read what I posted

"No more soul/jazz blah blah blah

we need it loud and fast dirty and funky!"

I think seeing Wendy & Lisa would be great but this is not the place.

I am talking about an opening act that Prince has never played with that can get the energy going in the Forum. Something completely different than who has opened.

As for calling me a loser, well that's your opinion just like mine for wanting something different then the same stuff. Is it my fault people did not really read what I asked in this thread?

Sorry I am not like the others on here that will like anything Prince puts in front of me

Also if you couldn't come up with someone loud fast and dirty like I asked why would you even respond to this thread?

p.s. did anyone google Fishbone?

I saw Fishbone in a small venue a few years ago, and yes, they would make a great opening act for Prince.
