Going to C Prince Thur May 5 in the round? Have the Forum shows all been in the round? The floor plan for this Thur looks different than the layout on the Forum site the other day. It's got the symbol in the middle of the stadium.
Either way, I'm going. Got floor tickets! woo hoo! [Edited 5/2/11 18:46pm]

I'm happy for you. Have a wonderful time. Maybe Prince will perform in these neck of the woods before the year ends.

The symbol stage is in the middle. He tends to stay towards the arrow the most, but he does move around. Plus there are big screens in case he's somewhere you can't see him or you want a closer look.
I think the best seats are in the Loge section facing the front or side of the stage. I haven't been on the floor yet (^&*! scalpers!)

Nice, I'm right by the arrow in Floor B, so should be good. Thanks for the info!

I had to cover 100 of my buddy's cost, as I couldn't find anyone to pop for the full amount either. If you go to another night, maybe we can split the floor costs next time..

Dang! Splitting the cost sounds good to me. Cant get enough of Prince live in concert:) I wanna be your lover!

Ok, we'll see what the next set of dates is and I'll PM you if I'm going again.

So those floor seats were the $200.00 tickets? Does anyone know if there's that much difference between those sections and the risers which start directly behind them? The risers are still pretty close, aren't they? Just trying to find tickets for Saturday still. lol Thanks.

^^^ The Risers are great (if you can get them). They're still very close & slightly raised off the floor so you can see the whole stage well.... I haven't sat on the floor yet.

Okay, thanks. That's what I'm going to shoot for then. There's a ton on the broker's sites so I'll just wait for the prices to drop a little. I'm used to paying at least $200.00 a ticket to see a concert so even if I have to overpay since these are only $25.00 face value, it won't sting too much. lol Not that I'm going to pay $200.00 to sit in the riser section though..

There's a small broker in Manhattan Beach called Highland Tickets that I got Risers from for $80 for last Friday's show. That's not too absurd of a markup.
You can find them on Google.

Obviously, the best seats in the house are VIP 1 and VIP 2. I think you've got to be super special to get in there, but let me know if you do! Of course, they don't get to see the full production since the stage is raised so high, BUT you get more Prince than the rest of The Forum. Floor Sections A and D are great that way as well.
For three concerts, I've been on the floor (section E, just to the side of the stage, near the back), and in several parts of the Loge (if you're stealthy, you can swoop in and take an unclaimed lower seat about 10 -15 minutes after Prince takes the stage). And I can tell you the best seats in the house -- besides VIP 1 and 2 -- are in the Loges 26 - 29 and 8 - 11, rows A - J. You're near the stage and just elevated enough to see everything.
I found that anything behind the stage is a bit frustrating because Prince spends most of his time facing forward or on the side of the stage facing Loge 27. I had a great time in Section E because he was so close when he wandered around our side of the stage, but I didn't feel like I got the full brunt of the show. The Risers are right in his eye-line, which is GREAT. But you'll feel MUCH closer to the action if you can get a low row in Loge 8, 9, 27 or 28.

Wow. Thanks for the detailed post. I think I love you. LOL Now I know exactly what to look for. I would love to be VIP 1 or 2 but since those will probably be impossible to come by I think being able to see the whole stage and still be fairly close is my next best bet. Plus as it is now, I will be with three other girls and it's hard to get 4 on the floor together. I do see some Floors A and D available. Hmmmmm...Loge or A or D. Which would you choose? Thanks again.

Thanks. That's close to me so I could just pick them up.

Here's a little perspective. The FIRST PHOTO was taken from the front row of section E on the floor (zoomed in slightly). It shows Prince descending into the stage at the end of the concert. That's where he stands/dances for most of the concert. He's looking a little to the right in this photo, but if he looked straight ahead, you'd be looking at the back of his head.
The SECOND PHOTO was taken from around Row F of Loge 27 (zoomed in slightly). If he's not in the middle of the stage, he tends to wander over here quite a bit.

Great pictures. Now I can really see how high the stage actually is. My one friend is pretty short and so I don't the floor would be the best place for her. I'm getting excited for Saturday now.
