1. BRING CASH MONEY. Because it's basically a church now, the Forum does not have working ATM machines and only one concession line that takes credit cards. That line was LONG ASS all night while the beer stands taking cash had no wait. Not sure if the merch tables took credit cards.

2. It's $25 to park in their lot, but several of the businesses on the corner of Manchester/ Prairie were charging $15. I took that deal.

3. DON'T GO HOME until you see the techs start breaking down equipment. There were two different occasions where they turned the lights on, then turned them back off when people kept cheering. It could be a long night. We walked out at 12:30.

4. Lots of views on where is best to sit but I can say, the loge sections closest to the middle of the floor are PERFECT. Prince does wander around the glyph quite a bit, it's nice to be able to see what he's doing.

5. It might not hurt to check at the box office on your way in if you could use an upgrade. They were selling 4th row floors & great loges for $25 last night a half hour before showtime. And no one was in line to buy them. Those must have been VIPs that they gave up on selling for $500.

They searched bags, but no body searches, so stick your camera somewhere on your person.

Thanks! Hid a decent camera on my person as suggested and I was not patted down. Binoculars were not confiscated in the bag search. There were huge signs outside warning no recording and camera devices allowed.

-The lone ATM machine line was crazy long.

-The posted last call for alcohol was 10:30pm.

-Hound those merch tables for more sizes and colors. They have plenty and are just being lazy when they tell you they are sold out of something.

-bacon wrapped hot dog carts were lurking close to main doors/exits.

-Crenshaw/Manchester was the fastest way in and out

If you are going to wear heels, make sure you can walk up/down the stairs to your seat. It gets pretty steep and there is no railing for you to hold onto. Also, you need to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the restroom.

Merch booths don't seem to have plastic bags so bring your own to carry your merch loot.
