Just looked at the video of Gwen with Prince last night that was posted before it is taken down. There are a few new ones.

Probably been asked before but who is in the band lineup?
I know Blackwell and Neto and Shelby J but who else? Were THE TWINZ there on the the 30th?

This one had so many special moments, but this encore is epic
Whole Lotta Love (w/Nikka Costa)
I also enjoyed the Extended version of
Renato went off thoughout the night and Prince sat in with Renato a couple of different times. I love that as he's passing by he'll play a little something.
This is my 5th of the 7th... and only I wanted to get Four in Do not know how many more I have in me, but if I keep up this ratio... 15 out of 21??? It won't happen, but I'm going to try and get every Saturday.
The crowd around the arrow in Loge (i was in 36) seemed slow to warm up, imo.
The 20 and 30 year olds are coming out in force. I dig talking to them because they are so happy to be able see him for the first time and I get the feeling that it bodes well for the rest of nights. Some will return.
My wife and I were so blown away with the whole evening.
After the dance, we treated ourselves with a little trip to the Hollywood Park casino, fried rice and a chicken taco. The deli closes at 1am and they also carry Pink's hot dogs.

Damn P was on fire last night. I had the time of my life. I was a little sad when I first sat down 2 see so many empty seats. The parking lot was jammed packed charging every car 25.00 4 parking (ridiculous). Once P showed up it was so electrifying and those empty seats were taken up so fast. It was a freakin packed house. All I can say Prince had the Forum Rocking All The Way Out. Just 2 hear “If I was Your Girl Friend, Something In The Water, So Far, So Pleased, Strange Relationship , How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore” was unreal. Prince and Nikka Costa was the business. I truly enjoyed them 2gether. This man is so gifted and 2 share his gift is just a blessing. Thank u Prince. U will always b my musical hero. Ain’t nobody like U.
Oh by the way, he’s a real sexy mother _____ 4 sure. Sexy and fine as he wanna be. Everything about that show was awesome. Shelia was on fire. Everyone on stage from the dancers, to the musicians, to the backup singers, to Gwen Stefani were all-tight. I had 7 people with me who had never seen Prince perform b4 who was in total shock. They had a wonderful time parting with the PURPLE ONE. Absolutely the best concert since Musicology 4 me. No body can take the place of Prince. Prince is a hard act 2 follow.
My souvenirs from the concert were: Program Booklet $30.00 Poster of Prince and his Guitar $15.00
Can't wait 4 the next concert

I live on the other side of the Atlantic! LA would mean at least a few days travel + a lot of money. I would do it if I could! Instead I'm following all the good reports on the org! And remembering my own concert experiences - 8 of them so far - from Prince's tours in Europe Oh, blue light...

Purple muthafukka opened with DMSr the twins on Clalrion turmpets (prolly just keys). Shit was bangin'! A Jamie Starr show broke out at least 5 TIME songs (spread out through sets). Sheila sang and played on A Love Bizzare, P only tease Darling Nikki, Entirety of When Doves Cry on keys. Damn awesome! Sexy funky!
I wanna cum again!!! NExt Sat! test

I'm amazed that no one clamors for Anna Stesia, Alphabet Street, and When 2R In Love from Lovesexy...especially Anna Stesia. That's got to be in the top 5 Prince songs performed and for a while was his main encore song while Purple Rain took a rest.

He choice great songs for the set. "Thieves in the Temple" is one of my favorites from G.B. I listen to that song first when I listen to that album. Thanks for the recaps everyone!

I probably wouldn't pick any of the songs if I chose my favorite top 50 from Prince, but okay, yeah, they're great songs.

Had a great time this past fri & saturday getting to see "Guilty Pleasure" But of course the open shirt episode and him crawling across the floor friday night was enough to raise heart rates!lol Saturday the energy of the crowd was even more hype! He says he is in "Rehab" but we still see the soul behind the eyes! And of course I was a happy camper because I got to hear "Shhh" My fav song for John Blackwell on the drums.MAN!Does he tear em up on that song!Love it!The only constructive criticism that I can offer is for them to make sure they have more of the Controversy poster,Prince armbands, symbol necklace & CD'S!Glad that the tambourines were back. Finally got 1! I was hoping that perhaps he would perform Laydown or one of his latest releases.I understand that he does not care if he is played on the radio .He does it for the love & passion of music.BUT if radio is not playing you & you are not playing your own new stuff at your own shows...then how do you expect anyone to hear your art???Make Lotusflower,2010 or something available at the shows.Even if you make it only a couple of bucks!Money don't matter?Fine!Donate it to a charity of choice then. But make it available! And the t-shirts that I like are ones that have his name and image. The others I do not care for nor will I ever spend money on.The fellas that were selling T-shirts out in the parking lot had some nice designs.Perhaps they should take note. And request in merchadise for more jewelry! Ear wrap, necklaces, earrings. Please Hoping to catch as many as I can...but just may have to make do.I feel sick already...I think I am going into Prince withdrawals.lmao

I'd actually love to hear anything from "Lovesexy" but "I Wish U Heaven" would be my 1st choice. "Alphabet St." could be real hot too, he outta bring them clarion trumpets out for that jam!

Whoo hoo! I can finally post! I went on this night and the previous night. Both nights were out of this world.
My seats however, for each of the nights, simply don't compare; high colonnade on Friday, while for this show I wound up scoring Loge, 7th row from TM for only $25. I kept joking that it was like I won at the slot machines!! I have to say, that while there may be several seats just as good as the ones I had this night, I cannot imagine a BETTER seat, right in front of the piano. Highlights to me was all of the SOTT stuff I was treated to, particularly "Girlfriend" and "Relationship." So cool to hear "Kiss" in consecutive nights in totally different arrangements, this night being guitar-less. Sheila E brought the house to it's knees with "Glamorous Life," incredibly just as intense as anything brought to the stage on either night!! And "Whole Lotta Love," which I recognized from the first chord but didn't believe he would play through until it happened. It was also a shock to hear him play ANOTHER lights-on encore after the sampler set, with full band. Definitey plan on seeing more shows, but see little point scoring tix until the day of. Makes it THAT much more exciting. At least one show this weekend for sure. If I'm lucky enough to be there the night Stevie comes up that elevator, I'll be so happy, that I poop in my left hand, smear it all over my armpits and do a mindless chicken-dance!!!
