Does anyone know if you can exchange tickets at the box office on the day of the show for better seats? I just checked and the tickets that are for sale are much closer to the stage than the ones I have.

Some venues do allow you to do that, I'm not sure about the Forum, but I wouldn't count on it. You can give it a try when you get there.

But there's no guarantee the seats there on the night will be as good as the ones you;re seeing offerred now.

If you're seeing good seats for $25, I'd grab them while you can. You end up paying the still-less-than-usual price of $50 for a Prince show and you get great seats, and then you give the extras you can't use to me.

No, the Forum does not do upgrades. IMO, this stage presentation works better further back than down closer to the floor. You get a better view of the stage's shape and the sound is better. As long as you're not in the upper rows of the colonnade or viewing the rear of the stage, you should be good.
