The Time opening for Prince would be insane!!!

if so, The Original 7 will kick his butt live.

The Time doesnt have enough material to hang. They have about five songs that will get everybody up.

If you're only interested in a sing-a-long medley of pop hits, maybe not -- but the original members of The Time can play tight circles around Prince's current line-up of horns and back-up singers.

Even if that is true, it's enough to get some rumps shaking and some toes tapping.

dont get me wrong, I would love to see The Time open the show.

The only problem with The Time in that setting is the stage. Part of their schtick is the whole being in sync and moving together as a unit thing they have going on. I remember in 2004 when they opened for Prince on the Musicology tour, that whole aspect was lost. Granted, that wasn't the originals, but the point is the same.

Still, it would be great to see nonetheless.

the time live version of cool is soooo boring compared 2 prince version u can tell he wrote it and owns it so im all 4 the time but i dont think they kick butt over prince
