Per the press release, 85% of the tickets are $25. From what I've seen, most of those tickets are located in the upper balcony area, but others in the forums have reported getting $25 tickets in the loge (lower balcony) and floor sections. I think if you were to look for a single ticket, you'll have better luck getting a good seat for $25.
The next price tier is $179 + fees, for a total of $205 per ticket. These are the better seats, also found for searching for "platinum" seats.
Then there are the Purple circle and VIP seats, which are either $500 or $750, for diehard fans or rich celebrities.
I was able to get tickets to the 4/22 show in section 36, which is facing the front of the stage, in the upper balcony, for $25. I had trouble getting through online during the first hour on 4/12, but got through on the automated Ticketmaster line.
There are also various ticket brokers offering tickets to the shows (including the 4/23 which technically hasn't gone on sale yet) but I suspect many of their jacked up prices will come down closer to face value because of supply and demand.
The review of tonight's show sounds great. It started late, but he made up for it by playing for over 2 hours and doing 4 encores!!!! I can't wait to see him again. [Edited 4/15/11 0:29am]

The strategy is genius really. Why give away so much money to scalpers who will resell the best tix for even higher. It's just fantastic marketing. If the shows are successful, everyone wins all aound.

I got 4 tickets on the floor Section G Row 4 for $25 each no fees. Great price but I think I'm at the "back" of the stage and wonder how the view will be. But still stoked about the price.
