Sheila E is playing at Yoshi's in San Francisco this coming weekend. I was hoping to see Maceo Parker but he is in France.

Im seeing a lot of activity on twitter.....apparently there were lots of ticket upgrades for people in the upper level. He and Chaka Khan performed Sweet Thing together. He is singing Let's go Crazy now and opened w/ When Doves Cry I think...

Just got home from an AMAZING concert! He closed with "Kiss"--before that it was Purple Rain--before that it was LRC.

We got a HUGE surprise--we were standing in line outside and one of the ushers came out and said that anyone who was in the 300's were to go to the 3rd level and trade in our tix--we ended up in section 101 row n seats 1,2--very close to where the piano was!!!! We went from TOTAL nosebleed-sec 337 row P--all the way up against the wall--to level ONE!!! We felt like we won the lottery tonight. Chaka sounded incredible--she opened with "I Feel For You" then "Ain't Nobody"-a song I don't know the title of...and she did "I'm Every Woman".

Well I did not know about D.MS.R. either! All the lights had been up and everyone was leaving so we left!

Candlelight - no I don't think so! The crackle of the flame will just spoil my flow. Besides I can be your fire baby dripping all over you like a ball of wax, relax and let go!!!

i got upgraded too. from sec 336 to 128, awesome view by the arrow!

this was my second show. first was 1/18 in nyc. i got super spoiled by that show and im sure y'all read about it. i was still as excited for this one though and i had a ball! i got LRC this time which was great and that jam session of controversy to play that funky music was awesome....that delta that got up there broke it down!!!! and i mean chaka chaka chaka, damn there didn't have a voice by the time she was through...

btw, did anyone else notice when p knocked over liv during scandalous?? and purple rain was so emotional this time around for me. everyone was so loud and it was beautiful, thanks raleigh! it was fun with him in high spirits [like laughing through himself messing up the lyrics to rasberry beret when we was singing them right]

Some people in my sec actually left before kiss which i am sure will produce pics as the kid had on a black suit with no shirt, unbuttoned for the dance breakdown, yea papa was getting it in lol

But then after kiss, i waited cuz it wasn't 11 yet, then i saw my people so decided to finally make my way out. but once out in the walkway i saw some ppl head back and surely they were coming back on the stage! we rushed all the way back to the floor lol i ended up right down by the arrow and the beat to d.m.s.r. started! he came back out kicking it, standing on the piano and everything getting us chanting 'oh carolina!'. it was a funky quickie party for all those that stayed.

but of course that made us all hold out for more, but after a while they started to take apart the stage so it was time to go but when we got outside the sky was purple and it was raining....
