Just wondering....

What's up with the manic / depressive vein in his last two concert series? This is NOT a putdown.... I'm just wondering about the up and down or hot to cold and back again in his choice of music selection at his last two concerts...

Misty bule then a medley of hotness then Sometimes it snows in April???? followed by another tear jerker... Purple Rain?

A thought out "cool down period?" Can't he cool down w/o the tears?

Just wondering.....

Don't get me wrong I know he has a FULL range of "HITS" but why sooooo sad?

Have you physically attended any of the 'Welcome 2 America' shows anywhere yet?

I would be happy to hear Prince sing anything, i would be singing along!!!!!!! 30 years of Prince concerts, Prince does what he wants to do, deal with him or dont , u have a choice.

I haven't attended any of these concerts from this series. Truth... I more and likely won't... times are too different now. But that's why "Vicarious" thrill... And I was asking to anyone that was actually there, to tell me what they thought.

After all they were there, I wasn't and since I wasn't and can only see the setlist and go on the internet and listen to the words to the songs I don't know... It comes across a little sad after so much thumpin happy.

Why is he flippin the switch soooo much?

Trust me it completely worked last night... We were all partying all night and that gave us a chance to catch up... and collect ourselves... I was on my feet for pretty much ever song. And the atmosphere was not at all gloomy or sad.... It was perfect... It was a party all night but sometimes you gotta slow it down a bit. Trust me it all fit together very well...

I was at the N. Charleston concert last night and it was the perfect blend of rock, funk, pop and slow songs... all done with 100% perfection!! This is the best live performance I EVER saw Prince do! The band was tight!!! And Prince was moving and running around like he was 20. I am not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that...: borrowed from Seinfeld, lol) but Prince looked damn good. He was at times only about 5 feet from me. He shook the hand of the girl at our same table while we were standing right next to the stage.

there was nothing up/down wrong with prince set i attended 3 of the nc shows loved everone of em and i am soooooooooooooo sick of the complaining people on here if u got a prblem with him stop and get on the chris brown train

Sad songs are beautiful too......

Tune out the lyrics and just listen to the music. That alone will move you to either the depths of the oceans or where the birds fly.....depends on what and how you're moved I think.

Go to 1 of the shows & I gurantee u won't come back here with this outlook.

One of my all-time favorite Prince songs is also possibly his saddest, Another Lonely Christmas.
