I was there tonight and am just floored. Went to Greenville Monday and of course it was exceptional but tonight's show blew that one out of the water completely. The energy level was intense throughout... It was as if P had something to prove. The songs he pulled out were such great surprises... A duet with Lalah on Sometimes it Snows in April... Peach... Uptown (!) This is one I hope shows up on the net in recorded form so I can live it over again. Thank you Prince and the band! Just awesome!! |

First Timer Review
First off I want to say I am sorry I don't have any good pics or video at this time. My sister took all the concert pics because I was so IN THE ZONE... I completely forgot to. THE MAN IS BADASS....
I was sitting in Section 218 and wasn't disappointed with my seats. When the concert was starting I was in line with a friend getting lemonade..."This damn attendant is taking forever" I thought. And at that moment I heard P's voice. "Eff the lemonade" I said and grabbed my friend's hand and ran back to my seat. He was introducing Layla Hathaway. The girl can blow but I was more anxious to get P on the stage. After what felt like an hour... I heard the music for Let's go Crazy and just lost my mind....
Key moments for me: P Dancing... it excited me... he still has it. When P sung with Layla Adore when P was on the Piano The Teasing with Darling Nicki The way he works the crowd Bass Guitar during Kiss COOL Purple Rain Uptown If eye was your Girlfriend Cream "Ya'll not ready for me I got too many HITS"
Atlanta look out... He may be coming you way. And if he is look for me there...

. I really couldn't believe this was happening. I was on my feet all night dancing. He played everything that I loved and even stuff I was unsure about but I love it now. Tonight was as of right now the greatest night of my entire life". You may think that I am just saying all this because its my first time, but I have loved P for at least a Century and this man really gave me a true reason to love him. His show was FUCKIN AMAZING. I would go see it again and again. Hell I'd even buy a ticket for someone who hasn't been just so they can experiance what I have.
