Congrats to ya'll who got to see the combo of Prince and Chaka! I was privileged to see Chaka in a recent concert in a much smaller venue and she was on fire! She can still deliver those terrific vocal workouts with no problem! I heard about bad acoustics at this performance for her but at the one I attended--no such problem. I also saw Prince at two shows in New Jersey and then again in Oakland and it was one fantastic ride after another! I can also vouch for staying after he leaves the stage after encores. The more shouting and appauding he gets, the longer he will extend the encores. If you can see him--don't miss it! BTW Sheila E. is not with Prince right now because she is in San Francisco and I'm gonna see her tomorrow... Can't wait!

Yes! I know! I'm still so ecited! lol. But it was the greatest thing in my life. SO wonderful. I got to see my man upfront and everything, with him singing his tunes easily and still full of life. Never ever forget, plus I had cool, wonderful orgers to share it with! So that made the experience even more awesome!!! Sorry again if I was too hyper lol

Great show! I was one of the lucky ones who got her seating upgraded, that is like the 5th time that has happened to me so I am not complaining. I loved the show, very nice setlist and lots of singing and dancing. He didn't play the guitar as much as some shows, which didn't make it better or worse, just note worthy. He looked great and the show was very fun. The audience was a bit prudish which is why I think the encore wasn't more packed. Most people had left..I on the other hand never leave until I'm kicked out. And I was walking hear the VIP area with my heels in my hand as P came back on. I had a feeling he might come back for some reason and to my pleasant surprise, there he was! Really nice to see him up that close as always, very great song choice too for the few lucky fans. P saw me with my heels in hand and gave me this half smile/half laugh. That was so cool! I met some other fans who I stayed out talking to way too long but it was ok b/c it was pouring down out there and I didn't want to get in the rain anyway. But this show let me know 2 things: It was worth the 26hr bus ride to get to NC and Prince was going to make this a very special experience for those in attendance.

I just wanted to ask everyone that went to this concert if you have any pictures of the people dancing on stage during "Paly that Funky Music"? I was lucky enough to be able to dance with Shelby on stage. I was the girl with the purple leopard print hat and purple boa around her neck. We were not allowed to get on stage unless we put our cell phones in a basket. I would sure love any pictures anybody might have...since nobody believes that I danced on the Prince stage. Thanks.

This was an absolutly AMAZING concert! I have been a Prince-A-Holic since the early eighties but this is only the 2nd time I have been able to make a concert. I just wish I had brought my camera in!! If anyone wants to post some pics from this show or maybe sell a few I would love it. I want to make a scrap book and would love to be able to add some pictures from the actual show!!

This has to be the best concert I've been to!! Over a week later and I'm still on a high from it! The most exciting part for me, was the final encore when he came back and sang D.M.S.R. Almost everyone had left the arena by then and I was able to run up to the stage and stand a few feet away from him!! And he looked me in the eye while he was singing!!!!! Granted, it was only for about 1 second that he made eye contact with me, but, hey, I MADE EYE CONTACT WITH PRINCE!! AUGH!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to find this forum, unfortuantely I found it AFTER the concert, and then had to wait 5 days to post, so this is so late.

Prince was amazing...still so, so sexy and talented. We had 5th row in section 110. I didn't get to see him as much as i'd like but it was still awesome.

I had also seen him in 2004 at the RBC center and loved that concert. Of course i'll always be dissapointed when he doesn't sing my absolute favorite - "7", but he certainly makes up for it!

So nice to be here, and i'm amazed at how much i've learned about Prince since finding Prince.org
