$25 Tix ON THE FLOOR G, ROW 4! UNBELIEVABLE! SHOCKED AND STOKED!! I just got the cheapest tix I ever got for floor seats for Prince on Friday, April 22 at the Forum. I've been seeing Prince since the 80's and I've never paid $25 for tix or ANY concert tix. Especially from Ticketmaster!!! I broke my ankle in January and just got my cast off and have the funkiest, ugliest black walking boot so I wasn't going to see Prince like this but my husband's friends wife wanted to go so I was looking into tix and was going to buy $131 tix for loge 1 with a $25 service fee from Stub Hub, completing the info on-line while talking to ticketmaster and the guy on the phone wasn't finding anything good so I was gonna hang up and click submit on Stub Hub and all of a sudden he says, "wait a minute, these $25 floor seats just popped up." I thought he was lying. He said he sold a lot of $25 tix all day but NONE on the floor. I already got my e-mail and printed them out. $100 for 4 tix on the floor, Friday night, NO SERVICE CHARGE!!! I will be the freak with the funky black bedazzled boot on the floor Friday night. Holla!

Thanks!! I know!!! I know sometimes it's hard to see from the floor when he's on the other side of the stage but I LOVE being on the floor when he comes to my side. I hope the view is good. I'll post on here and let everyone know but I'm hoping to hear from people in that Section tomorrow night after the show!

I am happy for you guys trust me but seriously...us on the East Coast spent tonnes of cash for tickets....I wish he showed us some better love than that!

You know honestly I dont' think it's up to him. I've been going to his shows since 1985 and it's just waiting, getting lucky and checking out prince.org to see what fans are saying. I have always bought memberships from him when he offered them and he gave the BEST ticket prices. I would buy a membership for whatever website he would have out for $50-$100 then he would sell tix for $50-$75 which I thought was fair. up close to the stage in VIP sections, awesome seats & he showed love to those seats. He didn't do that this time & I'm assuming because a few months ago he said the "internet was dead" (yeah, ok, Prince). I got lucky this time but I don't know what my view will be like. I'm nervous from some of the posts that we will be at the "back" of the stage looking at his back. But seriously, our budget can only afford like $25 now so I don't really care, as long as I'm there.

I wouldn't change a thing if I could go back in time, but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. Prince could gain so many fans by making shows affordable. Now if he plays other shows around the country like this from now on, I will almost forgive him, but we'll see. I think I dropped $1300-1500 on six shows...and it could have been $200-$800...but oh well...like I said, I would still have done it if I could go back in time. Just hoping that if he plays Tampa, Atlanta, Nashville, or New Orleans, that tickets will be at the same price level.

All is cool. I paid to go because I wanted to . I was just saying I wish my tickets had cost me less overall. I will go again too..I just hope we get that good shake at some point. I mean come on you guys get 21 shows--AND GOOD COSTING SEATS??..lol..
We got only 6 or so shows at premium cost AND a curfew...lol (this is NY/NJ) Loved it all..just saying:)

I know right. I feel that I paid $500 for one show at MSG!

You guys know it IS POSSIBLE to spend a lot of money here in LA right? VIP/ Purple Circle are $500-750 and most of the good loges are $200.
Nevertheless I hope it turns into a trend. I was kind of put out by the $300 Roosevelt Hotel residency as my only chance to see him in 2007, then it was so badly organized I didn't even get the chance to overpay.

Yep that is fine. But really alot of us went to multiple shows..sure you guys will too. When we went to multiple shows I don't know of anyone who got to pay $25....My choice but I paid $200+ per tix in Loge...each concert..
What I mean is..sure spend $$200-$750 for a good floor/loge seat..But then in LA if you want to go to 5 more shows you can get not as good seats and at least only spend $25 doing it..If I wanted to spend less for more shows in MSG/NJ it would still be at least $100. IT adds up.
Just lucky..that is all...We're happy for you..

^ This. I loved the shows and gladly paid whatever the price was but it would have been nice to get $25 tickets! First concert: January 18, 2011 & then February 7, 2011 at MSG. Best concerts of my life.

OP, At MSG as I remember were also cheap tickets(20-50 dollars), and you could buy them on presale on ticketmaster. The truth is, now a days all tickets are expensive, plus aditional costs that Ticketmaster charges. Getting 200 dollars tickets for Prince I thought was reasonable, because other artists making shorter concerts charge the same or even more. I thought Prince cost 200 or more when there is only few shows, But with 21 shows in one place, I think is better when they are more affordable, so he can sell all his tickets and more people can see him and especially his fans who want to go to every single one.
