Wish I could come down there and go, especially because one of my all time favorite restaurants is in Uptown...Mertz. They make some of the best soul food I have ever eaten in my entire life. And the corn bread is like a dessert unto itself.

Hey fam... I wanted 2 pass some info about hotels if some of u need it... I got a great deal on priceline for the charlotte show... staying at the omni for 63 bux!!! walking distance 2 the arena.... name ur price in downtown 4star hotels... I bid 63 bux and it was accepted!!! so if there is anyone that will be in that area and will be walking to the arena from the hotel then holla at me

Hi fellow orgers. I live here in Charlotte and I'm definitely up for meeting with folks before the show. If a gathering has been planned, someone orgnote me the details.

I know that The Breakfast Club, our 80s-themed nightclub, is having a Prince afterparty following the concert. They'll be spinning Prince (and associated artists) music all evening. I know the owner/DJ well and he's a big fan so it should be a great time. I'm going there with my partner and friend and we'd welcome any others who want to come along.

The club is located at 225 N. Caldwell St., just a few blocks from TimeWarner Arena. I'm sure we'll walk over, which I'd recommend to avoid the traffic.

I just booked it on Priceline for $63.00 as well! Thanks for the info. It is a $189.00 room!
