can he sell out arenas in chicago?

I am asking because i am in chicago till summer, and i do not know if lil' princey has alot of fans here...

probably, if he is going to stick with big cities. No promises though.

That's what I want to know. He needs to bring his ass to Chicago! It's the 3rd biggest city in the country, so he should know that he can easily sell out a show here.

It would make sense that hes been playing Mountains so that he could have a revolution reunion with Bobby Z.. You would think they would do a cameo but maybe as part of an encore..

I think Prince will come to Chicago atleast I hope so. He is playing all the big markets in the US, it seems like Chicago would be the next logical choice.

When he makes his way to Chicago I will make that drive to my first Prince concert

Last time he as in here in 2004 for Musicology he sold out 5 shows at the All State Arena, so he definitely has fans here. He also sold out an aftershow at the HOB on the final night concerts here. I got to see him three times. If he returns, I will go every night!

I am soooo ready for him to come to Chicago. That's only 5 hours from me so I will be more than happy to make the 5hour ride for as long as he comes. I know he'd sell it out. He is loved here big time. Plus all the folks from St. Louis, Indianopolis, and smaller areas will go to the Chicago shows.

Please Prince, bring the love to Chicago. We will show you how much you are loved here!!!! I pray he comes, that would be perfect for me. I went to see him in NY, I wanted to go see him in Oakland, I will definately go see him for all shows in Chicago. I hope he comes soon!!

Regarding the black portion, I feel the same way. From a financial standpoint, it would be a good decision because Chicago always attracts people from surrounding areas to his concerts. I always see people from Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri and other Midwestern states at Chicago shows. That's why I don't think he would have a problem selling out a few shows here. Every time I return from seeing him somewhere, people ask me when is he coming here - even casual fans. Plus, it is a major city, so folks can find other stuff to do here if they travel from out of town, especially during warmer months.

I think you misunderstood me.. I didn't say that he would not play Chicago. I meant that if he does, I gurantee that he will play Detroit too. I say that because Prince has said himself that Detroit is his second home. Detroit was his biggest market back in the day (It's in Dez's book) and he still shows us love. He has NEVER been on the road in the US and not stop in Detroit. I like Chicago, so we might see him there too..

I would travel from Detroit to Chitown to see him...it seems my driving distances to Prince concerts have increased a bit....still not flying anywhere to see him.......some of ya'll is crazy mad.

Well, I know, but that was "only" in London ... I meant "here in Europe" as being the rest of Europe where he toured last year, minus the UK.

I hope so! Just saw him in Greensboro and I want to see him again! I have relatives all over the midwest (I'm originally from Ohio). Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago...BRING IT!!!!!

A little birdie told me Prince will be in Chicago at the end of this month or next....Now I did recieve the rumor on April 1st but was told it was not an April fools joke...we shall seee.
