"If the court rules in the company's favour then MCD could potentially try and seize Prince's family home in Minneapolis..."

What house would that even be, I wonder?

I hope he finally bites the dust.

He really deserves some hard punishment (and his purse is the most aching point for him).

He loves to charge money even for the air that is fortunate enough to be breathed by him, but always fails with his payment obligations.

As I said many times before, he's the meanest and most despicable artist I've ever read about.

From the link:

Prince could lose his home for failing to pay $3 million for pulling out of a concert in Ireland.

The pop legend cancelled his sold-out appearance at Croke Park, Dublin, just 13 days before it was due to take place on June 16, 2008, without giving any explanation, leaving promoters MCD facing the bill to refund 55,000 tickets.

The company's owner Denis Desmond took legal action against the 'Purple Rain' singer and the case went to Dublin's Commercial Courts in February 2010 where it was settled after a four-day hearing, with the musician's legal team agreeing to pay over $2 million in damages and almost a million dollars in legal costs.

However, the sum was never paid by the initial March 2010 deadline and Denis and MCD were then granted a European Enforcement Order Certificate allowing them to pursue Prince's assets under EU law.

In documents obtained by the Irish Times newspaper, MCD have received a preliminary attachment of approximately $957,000 held in bank accounts by the 52-year-old singer in France and Portugal but have received no money from the star.

The businessman has now filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to allow him to pursue his assets in the US to cover the initial settlement fee plus eight per cent interest on the original sum which would add a potential $240,000 to the total figure.

If the court rules in the company's favour then MCD could potentially try and seize Prince's family home in Minneapolis and his personal wealth.

I literally have never, not once, read about a star with as much financial problems as Prince. And by problems, I mean that he refuses to pay his bills and is constantly getting press for it.

It's more likely he has to deal with a class action lawsuit if Prince has debts against different people he still owes.

A European concert promoter trying to seize Prince's assets is kind of ridiculous.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

I guess the Holy Scriptures don't contain any clear guidelines for paying what you owe and paying on time.

In my head, I keep hearing Prince's own voicing shouting "wake up, wake up!" from the end of 'Dreamer'.

Prince, pay up now. That shit ain't gonna smell any better tomorrow.

lol Although this is basically just the next installment of the same legal drama that he's had going on for some time right?

It does seem that it's a choice Prince makes, which is to not pay bills unless he absolutely has to (ie. should the court rule against him and make moves to take his house - which it almost certainly will not - then he'll pay up).

I don't think he actually gives much consideration to that side of things at all - I suspect we worry about it more than he does wink
