Of course the last minute announcements keep people from going to multiple shows. Typical Prince....by not giving 3 months notice or more, the shows will sell a little less than they would with advance sales...but that's Prince.

Well, you can spend 200 and see one show up close, or spend $30 x 6 shows for $180. Not counting gas, food, hotel, etc.

When I saw the front page posts, I knew I needed to get ready for a tour. I'm really ready for him to get to the Midwest. I'll probably splurge on the high end VIP tickets for at least one show. Probably brown bag it for the others.

Funny how Prince is like this, but this is a guy who created "When Doves Cry," and a guy who let Tony M in the band.

Ahhh, I get what you mean. People don't have time to save up for a show. I totally agree with that. I lucked out. I'm doing the Dave Ramsey thing and I have reserves for emergencies like car repair, etc. It's very sad that I would consider a Hit and Run concert an emergency... but it's almost comforting to know I can't possibly be the only person like that. lol

Thank YOU very much for your reply to my comment! YES, it did not take me a long time to become a Prince Fan. I am thankful for Prince, because before him, I was completely stuck on Michael Jackson. AND as much as I admire MJ for all he has done, Prince really opened more doors for my life personally. His music and instrumentality speaks to me on so many more levels than MJ could ever do. They are in their own place, so there isn't room for comparison, BUT prince for me delivers More spontaneous and random elements. He really does it for the music and my soul feels it. That is just some of what he presented to me. My girlfriend at first got tired of Prince because I always listen to him. Hahaha, but she appreciates him now, so much in so when Christmas came she bought me the LP of "Diamonds and Pearls". I listen to him just because he has such a large level of music. Too many hits, as he says, and we still have not got all what he has within his vault! So going to this concert will really be a moment to remember. Thank you for sharing this happiness with me!

You Maryland fans should come on down. Although he probably will come to Florida where I'm at, I am going to try to go to all 6 shows, since Prince could stop the tour at a moment's notice. Think about it this way....if the short notice with tickets going on sale means anything, it means you might get lucky like the New Jersey fans who bought cheap seats, and then were moved lower due to poor sales.

My relatives live in Carolinas they will love the show.It is amazing the tour in the Carolina area.
