Just wondering if there were ever "slim" nights of attendance at the London concerts. I had a great time last night and loved the after show vibe. Just curious. J

It was my 4th show this tour and I had a blast last night... More Than This was an amazing treat! Never heard the song before and thought it was such a cool way to end! I dance a lot and I keep taking new people to the show with me....

I disagree I went to the first night and then the last although all the seats on sale were sold out I noticed where i sat the first night at the back (where normally the back stage would be) was covered over but even so there would have been over 18000 stiil there !!

Just enjoy the fast possibility of attending his concerts in L.A.

Us, little, lousy p fans in the rest of the world can only dream of him on stage around the corner for 21 nights!

I never that I'd ever be able to see so many shows in such a short time span. Las Vegas was undoable for me.

I really try to feel happy for all of you L.A. people, and not think about my own selfish P fix.......

In London it was pretty much sold out every night. The Gold Circle and VIP seats still had a lot of spaces, but they dropped down to normal price on the day and were a steal and filled up last minute.

There is a real reason why the late MJ staged his comeback concerts in London .... and also why Prince sold out 21 Nights in London....

I think 21 Nights in LA is wasted effort as the US crowd has no loyalty to Prince as he's not had recent chart hit's

Yes, especially now these days sales even go slower... sometimes it takes soooo long, and concerts are sold out 2 days before sometimes, when it's already been on sale fro 4 months..

The LA shows are suffering because of lack of planning.

For starters, he should have attempted 21 nights in LA before doing other dates in the US. That way, more people would have traveled further.

Second, he should have made them his only dates in the US this year. In Europe it was made clear that the London dates were the only ones, so people from all over travelled.

Third, he is putting the shows on sale far too late. He needs to give people notice.

Fourth, it sounds like there is little promotion. In London, there were posters everywhere.

Lastly, the set. If you want to fill a lot of nights you need stella reviews. When a third of your main set is cover versions, you limit your chances.

The tour management seems to be very amateur. She probably only got the job because Prince is banging her.

Squirrel on point as usual. I attended the O2 run and ther was heavy promotion and, as Squirrel said, we knew it was our only opportunity to see him in Europe. And the setlists/ reviews were excellent. Also remember Planet Earth was the promotional album; mass publicity via tabloid. I'm sorry to say the last two setlists I've read here wouldn't inspire me to attend - far too many covers.
