Prince to play Glastonbury...NOT! Beyonce, U2 and Coldplay headlining. Beyonce was the American performer that Eavis said he had wanted to get for "yonks and yonks, years and years".
Still that won't stop the same deluded folks popping up on here in several months claiming they know he is definitely headlining 2012/13/14/15...etc Homer Simpson: "I call the big one Bitey"!!

I've never thought Prince would play. But that aside... those headliners are merely rumours. ----------

Prince not enough of a draw for Glastonbury.
ALso, most promoters afraid he'll cancel at the last minute.
Beyoncé is gonna be great! [Edited 2/12/11 6:33am]

I never expected Prince to play Glastonbury, he wants too much ££££ and control, but its a shame he isn't, he'd really give his music a big kick and introduce himself to allot of younger fans who probably don't realise/appreciate the quality of music he produced in the 80's/90's, he could do a tremendous 90 minute rock set to 100,000 new fans.
I remember the recognition he got when he did the 15 minute set at the brits in 2006, lots of people were amazed at his performance, he could really have raised his profile with allot of the younger crowd at Glastonbury. [Edited 2/18/11 13:48pm]
