Anyone remember during If I Was Your Girlfriend when Sheila was standing by the keyboards where her congas stood in front and Prince came up behind her? He tapped her on the shoulder while leaning back again the keyboards.

Needless to say, I had a great time. Above average arena show imo, but so sad that he doesn't pull out much of his output from the past 10 years - a lot of it would work in Oakland.

Shelia E was the highlight for me. I've seen P bunches of times, but I haven't seen Shelia playing anywhere near Prince since the Purple Rain tour. She was on fire, alough it was kind of lame that the crew started to lower her under the stage before Glamorous Life ended, and then had to raise her back up. Somebody screwed up that cue.

And I ran into some Orgers while I was there. Score.

He wore flats at the latter half of the show. He was in heels during the first half.

Well, they are what people are CALLING flats. They are actually, and this may be this wedge thing lol, but they are actually raised flats or whatever. So the heel inside is raised, but its a flat sneaker bottom, if that makes sense? You can see it in some pics and it is painfully clear in real life.

Well, I think the point is to hype the crowd up a bit. Its teasing that she is going to go away and then, woops, she comes back and destroys the drums and knocks over her cymbals (like she did last night) and then goes down holding one stick high in the air. It is pretty dramatic looking, to me.

I hope someone got shots of the silver and black outfit Sheila wore after the white one. It looked like a modern version of a SOTT/Lovesexy outfit. She has crazy long legs! The cameras got her from pretty much every angle last night and she looked phenomenal.

When we showed up, they had that section and few others curtained off and we were directed to a table where they exhcanged our seats for some on the lower level- Section 124 - still not best in the house but a huge upgrade from our original seats. No complaints from my crew. And we ended up two rows behind orgers I haven't seen since Prince's opening week at Club 3121 in Vegas. That was cool.

Also, while we were hanging out at a bar upstairs pre-show, I saw a guy walking around and randomly handing out upgrade tickets. He looked like an arena management type - button down collar, clip board, white guy, male pattern baldness. Keep an eye out for someone that fits that discription.

My parents got upgraded as well. From 207 to 105.

I didnt get "upgraded" but I ended up in the VIP section with the band's families. So it was nice to see Prince from 6 feet away:)

Many fans that are jaded or ho hum with his shows usually do not attend the shows. They just comment on the setlist, and then eventually listen to the bootleg(non-soundboard) to make their judgements.

The set list seems nothing more than a continuation of the 20Ten tour. Its always great to see P live, but he is becoming paint by numbers.
