I saw Larry Graham open for Prince and MSG on Decamber 18th and he was on fire! his bass playing is funky as hell. Everyone gives him a hard time for introducting Prince to the Jehovah Witness religion but then they overlook his musical talents. For all those who really don't like Larry then show up about 35 minutes late and you'll miss his set. Sheila E. will pop up during Prince's set several times. That's if they keep the arrangement from the NYC show.

Sheila E just added as a special guest for the Prince concerts this Monday and Wednesday at Oracle Arena.
The legendary Larry Graham will open both shows!

Without Larry there would be no Prince playing funky bass. That is who Prince studied growing up. Now with them both together. Prince guitar & bass playing have gotten even better than ever....

Well, I have to admit, you do make valid points.

His voice is horrible.

He's always with Prince.

And yeah, Prince turned Jehova's Witness because of him. But let's be honest, if it wasn't Larry Graham that did it, somebody else would've eventually done it.

But the rest, we can agree to disagree. I myself personally enjoy Larry Graham and the songs.

In NJ/NYC, the opening acts went on at exactly 7:30- or very close to it, then Prince was on by 9:00.

On 2/7, the show started at 8:40.

Honestly, I was disappointed with Sheila.

I've never seen her live before, so I was looking forward to her opening. Then she came out with Prince and did "Glamorous Life" and "Love Bizarre". She looked great and the energy was high, but I expected more.

Larry did his own set, and played some GCS stuff as well.
